Burgundy is the new beige i reckon , most of the shite cars i see now are this colour , the Honda us my loan car and the Vectra is my brothers which he abuses everyday and has needed the grand total of a spring and tyres over 3 hard years . Bridge bound in november unless anyone wants a good 2.0 dti engine / inj pump.

Just passing through this one , Saab 9-3 lpt , bought from the auction and will fix a few issues and move it on at a profit ( I hope )

Well thats me at the moment , my dad has quite a bit of interesting chod tucked away , lna , mk1 bx , v6 vectra , mint 205td etc etc which I will try and get pics of if anyone is interested.

Welcome!. You dad sounds like he has as quality crod too with the BX and LNA.

That Spartan looks GR9. Why would anyone bother to join the Morgan waiting list when those things exist...

Welcome along!

Spartan is actually quite charming, I get a bit of a chill when I see a kit car because most of them are trying way too hard, or have been put together by a blind sealion, but that looks perfectly nice :)

I still need to scratch my Saab itch one day. Might be an expensive day given all I hear on here is sludge stories, but I do need one. A fast one.

Welcome :)

Cheers guys, will try and drag the old man's shite out blinking into the sun for some pics.

Welcome :)

My mate has had saabs, one went well rusty in 6 moth or so, he still sold it to some bloke who was going to weld up the floor himself in no time flat, supposedly.

Welcome!
The Spartan is amazing! The ultimate sports machine.

I do love my 9-5 but it's a car I would find hard to recommend to someone else. So many pitfalls for the unwary. Luckily I have a 9-5 Aero for Spares which has donated it's suspension and wheels so far and will get robbed for it's bigger turbo one day!

Remember what saab stands for,

Something's

Almost

Always

Broken

Mk1 BX 1.4 in genuine barn find shocker !!!!1111!!!!!!

This is my dads long ( very long ) term shite . only 60k if i remember rightly and very tidy.

Needs a new ign barrel/ switch which I think is unique to the Mk1 (got plenty of Mk2 ones)

So if anyone has one kicking about.

Mega!, It hasn't even got a rear wash/wipe, It must be a very basic spec, brilliant!

That's rather nice,  I prefer the hatch's without the 3rd window.  I have a box full of BX bits that came with my old one including an ignition switch (without key) what are the differences?  if it's mk1 then you're welcome to it.

Welcome aboard, nice early BX, is it going to be returned to the road?

Absolute bottom of the range! I can hardly remember seeing any with just "BX" on the tailgate badge - usually the minimum was "BX14E". My useless fact for today - those black wheel caps were shared with the Visa 17RD.

Wow. Fabulous. I think 99.9999% of Mk1 BXs were Romantic Blue. Some bits of my old Mk1 BX were. I think I've still got some front indicators for a Mk1 somewhere.

Hello and welcome. Always nice to see some Saab content,  9-3 LPT looks tidy, along with your 9-5.  I have always liked them. Parts FAIL is a shame... Access to scrap donor required!
