Got speaking to the neighbour about the 600 I keep seeing. Wish I hadn't asked, it's a 623 gsi and is his dad's. Done 70k from new but needs welding same as yours. £50 buys it ! I've just sold 3 motors and don't need another but seeing yours makes me tempted.

Nice 75 looks to have auto wipers and auto dip mirror so connie se?

A = Anglia right?

Yep, spot on...

A lot of Rovers seem to be on AX or AV plates - we had a couple of big MG Rover dealers, Edmondson's in Ipswich and Ames Rover in Bury St. Edmunds - and I think Kerridges of Needham Market were a big player too.

It's a manual

fuuuuck thats super rare!!!!!! I bet its much better than mine. GIB!!!!!!

yes its a connie SE - how can you tell about the wipers?

Looking at the picture where the rear view mirror sits it's a big black mark rather than the little round mark mine has.

Hope this clears it up.

I've never had one with auto wipers as that pack came after my launch cars.

I'm sure it's on the switch pack on the right should say auto (I would have thought) or maybe something on the wiper stalk

Its a lovely car for £200, infact its a lovely car full stop!  But getting that for £300 delivered is peanuts, just look at it!

Look forward to the updates tomorrow.

I am properly excited about it. My last 75 had lots of nice qualities but the lame 1.8NA engine didnt make the most of them, plus the interior was a bit mediocre in terms of spec and condition. This should be in another league!!!!

How can I tell if it has that Harman Kardon speaker set-up? I'd flippin love that.

Same interior as mine, but my leccy seats don't work.

My experience with Gooners has taught me just how much damage big snazzy alloys do to the ride quality. I think my 1.8 75 had 16" efforts and I believe these are 15" so I am expecting a further improvement in ride QUAL

Is there any other photos? It's unfortunately highly unlikely to have it but truth be told in my dads old jap spec one the Harmon kardon wasn't a great leap in quality.

You can tell by little Harmon kardon badges on the front tweeters.

An amp in the top of the boot under the parcel shelf and an oval speaker in the middle of the parcel shelf

The alloys you have are 15" crowns.

They are my favourite alloys purely as they ride so much better than the others.

Yours are probably 195/65/15 as project drive kicked in. Mine are 205/65/15.

Lovely looking car and sorry for sounding a bit anorak

I'm pretty sure anorak level knowledge of 75s is a highly desirable quality round here.

Without doubt!!  My first 75 had Meteors, apparently the most desired wheels on earlier cars (along with Serpants) the 75 clubbers were telling me to keep them but I couldn't wait to get them off and replace with 15" crowns, the ride after was noticeably better and more wafty!  Win.

I think Mr Bol's last 75 had 16" Unions.

Yes meteors and serpents are what everyone wants. I have a set of serpents in my garage. I sold them and the person paid but then has not come on the club in about 2 years. I sent the mods a message and they tries contacting to no avail. Strange as I got paid the money
