New shite and Petrol Stations

When I bought the Rover 220SLi from Mr B he took me to this petrol station in the dark and wet, then he bolted into the streets of Crewe risking the Wolfs and other creatures that roam Crewe at night, rather than get caught in the company of someone who lives south of the Watford Gap Services!

15 months ago. Can't believe I've really owned this car that long, seems like only yesterday.

Not new shite (bought it in March 2010), but it does go to petrol stations a lot.

In 1992 I was touring the North East and rode the train past the ICI chemical works, I took a couple of pictures of the large insulation. The train stopped at the end of the line and my friend and I were captured from both ends of the train by 12 police officers as we had been reported for our suspicion activity. Telling the police I took the pictures to show my wife where I was on holiday did not help.

More recently I was on Stratford railway station (London) because it was the last passenger train to North Woolage though Silvertown and again took some pictures. Again I was stopped by the police as a member of the public screamed the place down that I was up to no good. Easier to defend myself with a digital camera as the police could view what I have taken. I was told no photography was allowed on the station but within 15 minutes the place was awash with train spotters with cameras the police took no action.

Does not surprise me. My Mum’s friend took a picture of a clock tower in our shopping precinct. Because it was on private property, security stopped him, and phoned the police.

The ended up taking away his camera as well as his PC, which he didn’t get back for three months-for fear of him being a weirdo.

This was because there was a secondary school five minutes away. Never mind the fact that there were no kids in the shot, because they were IN the school

If he’d been wondering around with his cock out, offering sweets, wearing a dirty mac with a t-shirt underneath saying “I heart shafting schoolgirls†I could understand, but he wasn’t.

That Red Rangey is the stupidest one I've ever seen. I want it.

The Red Rangey is stupider than a stupid thing being a bit stupid on International Stupid Day, and I wish that I could share it with you, and maybe even the population at large, but I love it too, too much.

Pah, all you fancy folk with your new cars that can be driven to a petrol station, it's far better* if the car doesn't work and turns up at your house on a trailer :D Mind you I would say that, my only recent car shite purchase wouldn't even roll off the trailer without assistance. I rather like the idea of a long distance shite collection.

No, not the x-Bolx 220, it's my 216 daily, and I love it.

Not mine, but this rather smart Rover Sterling belonged to the bloke I bought my Vauxhall Royale off a few years back.

It's the only picture of a car in a petrol station I have.

Mikes latest purchase at the last disused petrol station in England on Friday.
