Sounds good to me, my Mk1 and Mk2 transit forum is on V Bullitin so I am used to it (despite the blue forum being in it!!).

 

Just one thing, I would be a bit more direct with the title of this, I though it was about somebody bodging their shite!!

Me, I like the broken forum that no-one has the parts to fix any more. ALL NEW FORUMS R SHIT etc etc.

 

If we do have a whip-round, which I think seems only fair, then count me in too. You don't want to give me The Power Of The Moderator though - trust me on this.

Seconded on the donations, sure I can find some change under the passenger seat. Opening the doors again is a frightening prospect to those of us who got in just before the door was locked and the key was accidentally dropped down a drain, that said it does need new members in order to survive. While definitely needed to fight off spammers, I'd suggest not too many moderators and not too much moderation, the old way seemed to work pretty well with the regulars scaring off idiots pretty quick.

Bugger me! We've got an 'Announcements' section all of a sudden!

 

I propose a test for all the lost Pistonheads/StreetFord/SlammedVW etc types the Facebook section seems to have attracted, with some searching questions about 2CVs and Talbot Solaras.

Also, maybe a bit premature, but will the old home page make it across and possibly even get the odd update?

Well i have my adjustable hammer,assorted band sqishers and trink dubolators ready.

Also got a small grumpkin to hammer over it in case of trouble.

Yeah, right. These features will be like electric windows on an SD1, it'll have them but they won't work properly and there'll be the constant worry they'll jam halfway down.
