This SJ has been sitting unloved in Hoo for a while now.

It is actually quite solid underneath.

 

There are three of these Austins scattered around my dog walking route,it would make a good camper wagon i reckon.

 

In Hoo.I don't understand the charm of these things tbh.

 

And just around the corner from my one this late MV284 pick up has now moved in.

 

Down on Hoo Marina this Tranny sort of lives on.

 

The often spotted 6 wheeled CX was out and about running thru Dartford the other day.

In Sevenoaks God has got his own bus.

 

Outside a grand but empty house in the posh bit of Sevenoaks,this has sat for years now.

Funnily enough, one of my dad's favourite cars of his youth was a Riley RM, and he described it to me as being akin to an XR3i in its day. So it's odd those last two pics should come out like that!

That colour combination does it no favours, makes the top look too small for the bottom.  It looks narrow and slab sided, too.

Proper giffer job this, 3 door, trims (both sides!) and according to MOT History, 32678 miles up to 2011 when the odometer stopped. Only the one dent too!

I've sat in this Merc as one of my friendly mechanics recently recommissioned it after 8 years unused. The new owner only drove it 6 miles and has decided he doesn't like it, so will sell already. We suspect wife displeasure is the real reason...it's a V8, near mint and is flippin' marvellous IMO.
