Took my sister back home to London today. The capital may be shit in many ways but compared with my locality the streets are paved with classics and chod. These are all from a short walk around Hampstead and are by no means everything I saw. Old Mercs seem to survive by the thousands there.

These two were both in the same carpark in Newport Pagnell. Both 3.2 MV6 ex-Police cars, one can only hope welded diffs and chopped springs don't feature in their future.

Small bus show today at Heath Common, Wakefield today. Few cars but they were the same as the ones as we're out last week.

Didn't really take any pics

If I had to own a bus it would have to be a Leyland Atlantean just like this but with its full roof

This just looked nice and made me think where did actual design in stuff go

And I think this is the first one I've ever seen. Or its that nondescript that I've never noticed them

Great plates on that Irish Cavalier.  I'll never tire of seeing the old style red rear plates.

Few and far between now but that makes finding them more exciting. My Mk1 Fiesta has its original red plates as does my Mk2 18/85, everything else is on an EU plate

Anyway, an abandoned 440. Sorry for the portrait pic but I took this from the road so cropped it as best I could

I should add that these photos were taken from a Corolla estate also. I missed the turn off for Aldi chasing this and made my girlfriend take the pics (hence the dubious quality) and she wasn't best pleased when I asked if we could turn into the builders providers it had pulled into for better photos of the two cars so I didn't pester.

I have a bit of a thing for the e11 Corolla in case anyone is wondering

A few sightings. The 123 is a 300d, it and the Escort are daily runners around the locale. The T25 was on German plates and had an air of "my owner lives in me", and the 131 Mary Foley was four up with driver and passengers and we still struggled to keep up

Concur about the Ferrari 400, especially if automatic. The less that Ferrari folk like them, the more I do.

post-17481-0-86043600-1437146751_thumb.jpg

These are also sneered at by Ferrari bores.

It was parked in my garden for a couple of days while posh neighbours had a big party and ran out of guest parking. 'Twould look perfect in monkey-poo brown.

Thought there might be some love on here for the 400i Auto.

Be like the cool kids in their 306 cabs or 406 coupés

I like the 400i in any colour - it's the shape. I also like the Testarossa, but I'm not sure I'd like to own one.
