Not updated this for a while. Have also fallen out with Photobucket as the updated application keeps fucking up my phone so I am trying Flikr. Will see how this works.

I wonder if Photobucket realise they have shot themselves in the foot?

Fair enough if they want to start charging new customers or even old customers for extra storage, but to delete old images for current customers and generally make images unavailable?

Flickr seem to be doing a similar thing, but at least a certain number of old images are still accessible.

Seems to be a fair number of imgur.com pics not displaying. :( Are they doing the same thing?

And tinypic images seem to be broken. They must be all doing the same thing?

Screen capture from a dash cam though a very wet windscreen. Hence the poor quality potato cam image.

Thats a proper XR3i that. If it was proper 90s spec it would've been a 1.1 popular plus.

Only had around 5k on it in 2007 too on carcheck. Low milage one.

Anyhow, I saw this Corolla in town today.

I initially convinced myself it was a Mazda RX7, but then talked myself out of that. It looked well finished and like a 'car', rather than a body-kit or 'Ferrari conversion'. I was rather hoping somebody on here would tell me!

Wow, that Maxi is the exact double of mine and was registered in the very same month too. It's been untaxed since 1985 so I wonder where it's been hiding. Doesn't look in bad nick so it's got to be worth saving and hopefully won't get crushed. Are the club aware of it?

Any details @quicksilver, as I assume it's in one of those photos that don't show up? Photobucket?

Lives nearby. Don't think I've ever seen/smelled it moving, but it does move.

Makes me wonder who originally imported it, and why?

Hi! I just joined - the Caddy used to belong to me! The pictures are from when I had it. It was like driving around in your front room!  I've since replaced it with another American car!

Wektor

Thats an amazing spot (both Spartacus for spotting it in the first place and Sir Snipes for knowing what the fuck it was). Wikipedia says (translated from Kraut):

Wektor automobiles and design was a German manufacturer of automobiles .

Company History [ Edit | Edit source ]

Johann Bergmeier founded the company in Unteriglbach in 1988 and started producing automobiles. The brand name was Wektor . In 1991, production ended after 68 copies had been made. In the 1996 model year , the company was based at Hifering 5 in Ortenburg and was again active as an automobile manufacturer.

Vehicles [ Edit | Edit source ]

The first model was the Competition . This was a sports car based on the Toyota Supra . The drive was provided by a six-cylinder engine with a displacement of 3000 cm³ , turbocharger and 330 to 420 hp . The body shape was that of a coupe with a Targa roof . The new price was DM 120,000 .

The W 48 offered in the 1996 model year was based on the Toyota MR 2 . The chassis was reinforced. The coupé body resembled Ferrari models. The drive was provided by four-cylinder engines from the MR 2, which were optionally available with and without a turbocharger and produced between 156 and 330 hp. The new price was 92,000 DM and the delivery time was eight weeks.

The moment I knew that I had no clue what it was, was also the moment I knew that the collective knowledge of AS would come good.
