This handsome A40 was getting loads of attention at Sunday's Wrotham steam fair.

In my opinion it was perfect and would be exactly how i would want my 60's car to look and big respect to its owner for keeping it original.

Saw this lil Mitsi beauty in a nearby MOT garage car park and had to stop for a pic, the paintwork was A1 ?

Since the rolling 40 year tax exemption has returned I've noticed more late 70s cars both at shows and on the road.

Found a BX diesel in the garage next to the body shop the carlton is in. It’s force hail at 750. Says it starts and drives fairly well, but does need a few fettling jobs doing. Had a quick scan, leccy windows and about 107k. Then I left before I did something I’d regret. If anyone’s interested I can pass details on.

That looks very nice.  Does that price include a test?

This was the very first Mitsubishi imported to the UK and is part of Mitsubishi UK's heritage fleet. It appeared at FOTU last year so I guess it's being prepared for another appearance there.

I know (or at least think I do!) most of the Xantias around here...so was quite surprised to wind up parked almost next to this S2 HDi today in Wolverton.

I'm slightly envious of their lack of laquer peel...

Slightly dirty Felicia but it has good rear arches and lack of laquer peel - the two main things I look for in a Felly. IMG_20190702_115118.thumb.jpg.97e86eaf87dbcf382b14a9102d2cec92.jpg

And this looked super clean from here. IMG_20190706_132035.thumb.jpg.4c3d7e7f7066ba957fdd83f6af2ced4e.jpg

Somewhere in Wales.

I once spotted a 1991 Jetta sitting in a skip in County Mayo. Seemed a shame; they are good cars and do take a load of punishment.

Spotted on the way to work last Tuesday, how the hell did that happen? Has it fallen out a plane or just how you park your van in London!

Polish-plated Daewoo Lublin, apparently,

Christ only knows what it's doing in Belfast on a damp Monday afternoon, but going by all those stickers something exciting's going on, anyway.

I saw an orangey yellow one of these covered in stickers on the A50 Friday afternoon, wondered what the hell it was

Some sort of Hiberno-Polish rally, apparently - how fast can you travel from Katowice to Wicklow?

Fantastic!

I'd misread the web address as 'Ztombol', rather than Zlombol (pics were taken from the other side of the road, then cropped), which was why I didn't get a result... duh, on my part.

Looks like the rally just finished yesterday in Dublin - so presumably this wagon's crew felt confident enough to hare up the road for another 100 miles. Fair play to them!

I'll keep my eyes peeled for further delights, just in case there's a Barkas or two knocking around... or indeed one of these:

One of my colleagues, who is Polish, helpfully explains that the slashed "L" character sounds like "uwe"/"oower", so this example would be pronounced "Zoowombol"
