fordperv Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Whilst given the wherewithal to purchase a Murcielago I,in common with most of us here, would fill a field with shitty old Simcas,Austins Lancias, and other random shite from the arse end of the 60's and 70's Trades Unions reign in the motor industry. To say you don't see the attraction, let me spell it out SIX HUNRED AND SEVENTY BHP, WTF is wrong with you all,it's like saying you don't see the attraction in Beyonce's arse, I'm happily married and hate her music ,but I'm not blind! sorry to be pedantic but thats a gallardo and dependant on model are a maximum of around 570 bhp, i dont see the point of them as they are just white goods i feel the same about newer ferrari's also now if were talking about big bhp cars that give a you a chubby (both faster than said lambo as well) xj220 mclaren f1

HillmanImp Posted June 29, 2014 Author Posted June 29, 2014 There is a Ford Nut near me. Have been meaning to get photos for ages and there was a traffic jam this morning which gave me my chance as I used his drive to turn around: When I say NUT I mean crazy as he own a Puma and a Probe. Cant see it in the bottom photo but there is also an orange Beetle at the top of the drive. Don't know the spec of the Granada. Also spotted this on the way back from a piss up at the Saltaire Brewery the other night. Apologies for drunk photo kawlitie. The Porsche is actually red and looks okay in the light as drove past it again this morning.
Mr_Bo11ox Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 This is my favourite car parts shop as well!!! then popped to get some parts i had ordered from my local friendly factors with bonus pair of 406s
fordperv Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 They are quality lads in there who know there shit, I won't use anywhere else, they have parts for various shite on the shelf that most places would look at you daft for asking for
Jim Bergerac Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Few recent odds and sods. Nice 2CV: Scruffy SAAB 9000: Wouldn't class this as shite, but unusual to see these in RHD: Autoshite always loves* a modified PT Cruiser: To finish things off, Swiss Hiace:
vulgalour Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 1997 (well, it was on a UK R reg at any rate) Buick Park Avenue. Piloted by a Sid & Doris, still LHD and in a dark graphite hue with what looked to be grey leather interior. They were not hanging around and since I wasn't either in the Onion Bus I decided better of taking a picture. The Park Avenue has distinctive rear end styling that thankfully makes it look like nothing else you're likely to see on the road. Image taken from the internet for illustrative purposes.
dave21478 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Had to wait for a while as they winched this one up from the ditch. Sad looking Juvaquatre used as signage for a grubby looking restaurant. Both the van and the eatery looked a hell of a lot cleaner a few years ago. I thought French people were supposed to have taste and style? Lexus lights, badly applied tints, small diameter cheapo alloys so he can keep the original tyre size, massive tribal graphics and an exhaust spout big enough to fit your head up. The big soot stain on the bumper would suggest its a dizzler too. Not shown in the photo are the dents and ripples everywhere. He parked it over two spaces.
Jim Bergerac Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Few more from me. I see this Scirocco most days and finally got a pic. Bonus Seicento action: Spotted this out of the corner of my eye from the main road and went for a closer look...
fordperv Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 spotted this winner at the bp next to east midlands airport earlier big yellow taxi 14 plate defender towing an old series look how tiny the 2cv looks
panhard65 Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Here are a few from yesterday's local car show.Lovely AtlanticLovely old skoda that was worth a few pics The back end of this Daimler didn't quite look right Front looks betterI am sure if his "other car is a Ferrari" as the sticker in the rear window says, he wouldn't bring this pile of crap Toyota to a show instead. WTF !!! It had an Audi engine and badges so no redeeming features at all.Maybe I should of done something like this to the Hotchkissrat look bedford with 300tdi engineSaving the best til last this lovely old Lancia Jim Bergerac 1
vulgalour Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 That Moggy pick-up is really neat and a great solution to whatever the problem was with the original back end.

anonymous user Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Cabriolet graveyard Three Escorts (there's another behind the blue one) and a Punto Cabrio, someone also likes Subaru as there were another two Foresters in the street
dave21478 Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 A Renault what? "captur". Whats one of them?Oh, another people-carrier sized thing that only seats 4.5 by the looks of it. Then 2 mins later..."The new Citroen Cactus." it said along its side. "cactus"? seriously? thats its name? Blimey, remember when manufacturers introducing a new model was a rare thing that became a big media event? It seems that these days manufacturers are squatting down and shitting out a new amorphous blob every fortnight. Back to more interesting things. This baby looked minty-fresh.and again a few minutes later... This mini has been up on a pillar as an advertising for the pottery place across the road for decades. I stopped to have a nosy one day and its completely rot-free.
Dave_Q Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Few pics from me, the first few are from "Interesting vehicle day" at work. I'd thought I'd taken more than this but meh. Also this C90, because C90.
