Here is a bunch of shite I saw at the Abbey Hill Steam Rally this weekend.    Don't really like cluttering up the LST with show pics but have tried to avoid snoring old blokes in garden chairs and the various gonks and car club shit people seem to festoon perfectly good cars with.....

From the unreleased Bond pic "Brownfinger"

I heard the owner say he was going to restore this.  So I walked away, quite quickly.

Er...dunno why 2 Camargues.   Just a footnote to say one of the classic caravans we were displaying with was collected on the Monday by a Renner 19 Chamade which somehow escaped my attention until it was driving down the exit route....Looked nice, too.

Just up from the trio of Renaults, was this dooblehorse Acadiane:

I went to Hornsea where I saw 6, not one, not two, not three, not four, not five... But six... Seis...exi.... Roku... Liu.... SIX MG3's!!!

Theres a dealer about 10 minutes away which explains this phenomena. (Plus an MG7G/ZS I forget which)

Also I saw a mint Fiesta RS Turbo, driven by the world's oldest man, sat next to the world's oldest wife. KGF cars would list this thing for £30k.

Ok, I'll be honest I didn't get any pics of the MG's. Or the world's finest Fiesta.

But Hornsea also had this, which I think you'll appreciate.

Shame about the smashed nearside headlight on that Saab...I wish the owner luck in finding a replacement.

Mine had a stuffed reflector ever since I got it - when looking for a replacement I could find dozens of offside headlamps, but no nearside ones other than at extortionate prices...Never did figure that out.

I had to take a mistaken* early right turn to get round the block so Mrs Honda wouldn't get suspicious...

South London this morning. If you ring the number you can hire it? Owned by man and small dog who had just exited as I arrived having followed it on my bike.

My steelwork supplier smoked up in this again today. He has another one - a yellow one with cream vinyl roof.

It is a 4.9 1991 model that he bought off a deceased estate. 100k km on the clock and one lady owner from new.

He belongs on here, but still grapples with the idea of a clutch pencil let alone the internet.

Apologies for blurriness; clearly my spudcam just couldn't cope with the neck-snapping 1.8l of raw power as it shredded past doing, ooh, at least 18mph.

Gave the driver a thumbs-up as he passed, which he returned. Which was nice. Local Antrim plate on it too, so wherever it may have roamed in the world, it's always made it back again.

This place is a bit of a chod paradise now I have started paying attention beyond the zombie apocalypse that is Hamilton Ontario. Imagine the Thriller video set in Redcar in 1984 (other steel-towns on their knees are available).

This was taken next to the chemical cleanup for a murder that was not allowed to photograph.

If it was the dealer owner being scooped up from the pavement below the building from which he was thrown, I’ll be awaiting it’s advert on kajiji
