My soon to be for sale (shameless plug) Scorpio Cosworth.

I kick myself regularly for not picking up a 38k mileage scorpio a couple of years ago but got the E30 instead - yours looks nice!

This is about as shiny as it's gotten while in my care:

Can't wait to see pictures of the Security Sierra - perhaps the perfect frient for Albert_Ross's Landrover?

Typically, I can't find full-sized versions of the pictures I took of the car, only resized Photobucket versions:

I'll keep looking for the full-sized versions ;)

I'd love to have that on my drive!

I admit I have washed this quite a lot. I wonder sometimes if I'd just let it get dirty if the damn thing would have rusted quite so much.

For the first time ever, today I had a go with a clay bar on a corner of my rather grubby Calibra.

WOW. The results were seriously impressive.

If I find (at least) a weekend free before the Coniston rally I'll make an effort to do the entire car.

Clay bars are brill, I always classed them as something that only a detailing nutter would use but I really think they're great bits of kit. It leaves the paint like glass!

This.

The only reason I went to the trouble of buying a clay bar was because LT said they were good, and I thought "well if a shiter likes them, they can't be all bad."

So yeah, I'm not done yet, but that's after about 16 hours work so I think it's worth posting it up. Probably at least another 20 hours work to get it where I want it. I'll get some better pictures when I've actually finished cleaning, hopefully in front of some of Sheffield's miserable architecture.

Hey, I've got one of those! Here it is at the Seattle Auto Show, staring down a hulking great Citroën:
