So good to see our number 1 shitesite back on the road and hopefully in full working order, congrats to those who did such a sterling job of the restoration work. To misquote a well-known saying, a week is a long time without shite

Update on al the spammers still listed as members. Their usernames are all banned so we shouldn't see anything from them. Their accounts and IP addresses will be dealt with later.

 

Next stage, looks like Andrew is kindly archiving threads over 3 years old for us next before we have to do a purge and keep the hosts off our backs for a couple of years. If the site suddenly goes down again it's because we're not purging it fast enough, hopefully all will be done bfore that happens. And if it does it will only be very temporary.

 

Remember to start update your spotting threads etc if they've been lying dormant for ages, I know I must do this to mine to asap.

Good work by the management in sorting the site out, and tighter restrictions for those wanting to joining sounds like a sensible idea ... keeps the rif raf out

A mod or two purely to deal with spammers does seem like a good idea as well.
