That is tidy, I remember a 17 year old friend (about 12 years back) getting one of these from an ex copper in gold, with a silver Hammerite tidemark up to the door crease. He got so fed up with the pisstaking that he replaced it with a rust free* Rover Metro on finance which only made it worse

rust free* Rover Metro

There is NO SUCH THING.

These are mythical creatures like Unicorns and Dragons but less common

He was an apprentice mechanic and had spent ages checking it over at the dealers, then he fetched it back and was shown what causes brown stains on rubber door seals

This however, is not mythical, and is indeed tidy and a bloody bargain (but then I would say that!)

Last time I drove one of these, the passenger door was so badly caved in it wouldn't open and something let rainwater in so had an amusing* mixture of oily water on top of the carpets, and a fusty smell. It was a courtesy car from the cheapest garage in town, and gave the driver of a Saab 900 Turbo something to smile about as I chased him up the A616 to M1 J30. Well, let's face it - he was obviously proud of his fairly quick car, where I was in something that could quite possibly have been improved by somersaulting it into a field. It WAS bloody entertaining though and exhibited a typical Japanese "won't fugging die" quality.

This deserves an award. Not for overall condition which is truly excellent but for surely having the most optmistic set of dials ever :o

Fabulous!

It's a 2 door so therefore 'sports', 150 is perfectly definitely probably maybe possible :)

So, Mr P, what's on the cards next?

I'm pretty sure they aren't the original dials though, These more basic models wouldn't have had a rev counter from new.

I learned to drive in one of these before the instructor chopped it in for a K10 Micra. I know there was a lot to take in on those first few lessons but I'm sure I'd have remembered a 9K rev counter :)

.....wierdly though I do remember the right hand indicator stalk and superb gear change. How times change!

Someone who used to own this pointed that out on the blue forum too.

I'm not sure a photo of it being ragged up the hill climb is great in a for sale ad?
