Pillock Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 I got a slightly different view of the 2008.Mine had the hugely bright blue lights in a sort if Dame Edna fashion. dugong, alcyonecorporation and brickwall 3

beko1987 Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 The heater controls should light up but don't, not too sure why not but CBA to fix it. Temp gauge bulb goes on and off depending on its mood too
Conrad D. Conelrad Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 The Colt's quite a boring one. Exact same layout as Meshking's, above. 1988 Mitsubishi Colt by cdconelrad, on Flickr Whole cabin, so you can enjoy the other lighty-up bits. 1988 Mitsubishi Colt by cdconelrad, on Flickr DodgyBastard, mat_the_cat, BorniteIdentity and 1 other 4
Junkman Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Mustard mitt, I was rather expecting the Eclat dash to look more like this at night: dash.jpg Me something like this: Magnificent Rustbucket, RoadworkUK, brickwall and 3 others 6

willswitchengage Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Why do manufacturers choose such a horrid green? I love it. My old Fabia's looked amazing... alien like. Vauxhalls in orange look warm and I dislike it. Citroen BXs look cool in their green, but only if the dash bulbs are actually functioning. P1050022 by willswitchengage, on Flickr My Toyota's in white I find look very high quality, and it's easy to read at night too. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Even a sensible maximum speed and good font. Awesome. BorniteIdentity and brickwall 2
Pillock Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Does the dolomite have cheese wedges for warning lights, like off of Trivial Pursuit? That would make a catastrophic failure slightly more bearable if you got the whole set. Wilko220, mat_the_cat, Taff and 1 other 4
Conrad D. Conelrad Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Does the dolomite have cheese wedges for warning lights, like off of Trivial Pursuit? That would make a catastrophic failure slightly more bearable if you got the whole set. Triumph called it the "all systems go" dial, presumably becoming the "all systems no" dial if the battery or oil segments came on suddenly.

RoadworkUK Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Not sure about the first one, which I think is from a car. But the second is definitely a 1976 Hitachi AM reciever with flywheel tuning. Lacquer Peel and Dave_Q 2

mat_the_cat Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 /\ Good, but needs more multi-coloured lamps. I order you to go back and take another one with every warning lamp illuminated... Skizzer 1
dugong Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Because most of the satellite markings are obscured by the steering wheel, a Piazza dashboard's a bit of a wanker to shoot at night. The importer fitted stereo also has ORANGE illumination not GREEN and this makes my OCD VERY CROSS. Conrad D. Conelrad, Magnificent Rustbucket, Junkman and 2 others 5
Ghosty Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 This thread has prompted me to wonder what colour the A4's dash lights up - being VAG it could well be blue but I'm not sure.

Pillock Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Audi light up red. FUN* FACT: AEG domestic appliances use the same shade of red by design because it's a sign of quality. According to their training people.
