Guest Breadvan72 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 MOAR Beta. Note high class ICE fit up for KICKIN CHOONZ, 1981 stylee. Peter Patina and Lacquer Peel 2
Forty-two Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 2008 Freelander 2 Nav screen has over exposed, it isn't that bright!
Peter Patina Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Moar gauges the bettaz. Lancia Betamax has at least one for every occasion. What about colour-preferences? About the only time in my life I'll vote green. Love that Jensen though - like parchment.
Junkman Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Rover P6b oil pressure gauges can be scary things. Only if they work.
Pillock Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 The stupidly bright satnav screen seems to have cocked up the rest of the brightness. White and red across the dash in 2009 Focus, better than the green they've been using since the 80s. I notice new ones have gone much more white.

twosmoke300 Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Those 06 civics have one of the most annoying dashboards ever at night. Just too much going on.
Guest Breadvan72 Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 The Betamax maxed out gauges helped me diagnose a problem yesterday, as even a clueless dingbat like me could say "Wot? No volts AND overheating - derr, must be me belt". OK, I could see the brokken belt when I lifted the bonnet, but at least the dials gave me a clue where to look.
Guest Breadvan72 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 1976 Series 3 Landy. Temp a bit over half way cos I had parked up with the engine chugging while I fecked about with my phone (to rubbish effect, as you can see) and ate chips. Runs in the middle usually, except when stuck in mud due to operator fuckwittery (see other thread). | Inspector Morose and brickwall 2

RoadworkUK Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Lotus Eclat Mustard mitt, I was rather expecting the Eclat dash to look more like this at night: spike60, brickwall, alcyonecorporation and 9 others 12
gm Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 I did this a few years back on my mx5, thought you guys might like it :Here is a pic of my perfectly normal mk1 dashboard with green LEDs fitted :Nice, but nothing unusual there...But what happens when you switch to high beam ?click the video below http://vid22.photobucket.com/albums/b335/mjbrennan/MOV02178.mp4 details on how I did it here http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=86810 Fat_Pirate, meshking and mat_the_cat 3
AlabamaShrimp Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Don't know when I took it but it's my Frontera mk1
Pillock Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 That has a pleasing number of dials. I wonder why they think a Frontera driver needs to know stuff that Astra drivers don't.
dugong Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 That has a pleasing number of dials. I wonder why they think a Frontera driver needs to know stuff that Astra drivers don't. Looks like a Carlton MkII instrument pack to me.
Matt Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Why do manufacturers choose such a horrid green? Craig the Princess 1
dugong Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Perceived colour spectrum at night? I have a blue \ yellow deficiency so can't read the dashboard of a MkIV Golf at night.

FiatPhil Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 X1/9 1500 late model dash at dusk! With all electrics on, the modern stereo has come out a bit bright though.
derskine Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 18 - Fuck knows why the speedo goes to 140, it's top speed is about 80.
