Pieman Posted August 17, 2024 Posted August 17, 2024 Now that's a really weird coincidence, because I only saw that one myself recently and messaged @vulgalour about it! Was the black one there on the driveway as well (and the green Armstrong-Siddeley)?

vulgalour Posted October 23, 2024 Author Posted October 23, 2024 It is known. I think it was someone on this forum who first brought it to my attention with it was doing its best to blend in with some modern cars. bunglebus 1

bunglebus Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Essex reg in Essex, just down the road to me
quicksilver Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 Another possibility. Latest Princess model release by Oxford Diecast is SAK562S, a Reynard 2200 HLS. No photos of the real one and not on DVLA so it may or may not be a legit reg, but SAK739S is a known car the same colour. I listed the first four (three known survivor cars and one fake plate) back in 2018 and the only other release since then was of known Jade Green PVW620R. lesapandre and Datsuncog 2
Datsuncog Posted January 24, 2025 Posted January 24, 2025 Ambassador under pressure - recently uploaded onto a Facebook urbex page. Facebook AFP618Y - last on the road in 1996, it appears. Fairly boggo 1.7L spec.
MorrisItalSLX Posted February 4, 2025 Posted February 4, 2025 One of the known Australian Princesses has come up for sale, still in Western Australia (about as far away from me as possible) and with running issues. (any ideas @vulgalour ?) https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/boddington/cars-vans-utes/austin-leyland-princess/1331498197 It goes without saying, but WOULD. It would make quite the collection caper. This is one of my all time favs, just the best colour combo and wheel choice really. I can quite legitimately say it's a shame it's so far away, for once. MorrisItalSLX 1
