I haven't counted them, there must be about 300. At least they're light.

The Mazda is an older Tamiya kit.

BTW, charity shop visit was achieved and the Dinky Jaguar was purchased!

A couple of new mini motors have turned up today. Courtesy of @flat4alfais this Tyco era Matchbox 300ZX

Also along for the ride was this unknown tinplate

Main event was the Lucky copy of the Gruesome Twosome though

In another package were; a very sharp Matchbox RX7

a Playart Corvette Stingray

And a tatty but complete Zylmex Wheeties van

It's one of the harder ones to find. I wish I had the skillz and tech to make decals, paint is easy enough but the stickers aren't something Steve Flowers knocks out!

Crikey! This one was certainly less than that.....

It desperately needs some way of pushing the wheels further out into the arches.

All the older Dinky stuff had gone, so if there are other enthusiasts around I know what they're focusing on and they're welcome to them. When I selected the Jaguar plus a Majorette at the counter they brought out a 3 for £1 box. Nothing too exciting in there, the MF tractor was my main choice and the incomplete but tidy trucks to make up the amount.

Anyone know who made the tractor? There are no markings that I can see.

Plans were once afoot along those lines

But that one was just the body with no base, donated to me by...someone on here 155V6. My memory isn't what it was. It ended up going onto yet another member possibly to spend its days whizzing around as a slot car after I found a complete one - but I still wanted one to have a play with but not turn onto yet another Steed clone

Just found some new bits in Entertainer, they've finally ended the 3 for 2 on Hot Wheels

Definitely keeping an eye out for the Crapi.

I had a mooch around Basildon, seemed like Entertainer and Home Bargains had taken delivery of 2022 Hot Wheels at some point but there were only a few left.

Still, there were some interesting ones, starting with these in QD

It's a bit of an oddity, Mattel have been releasing special sets like this for a few years, chrome/black, gold/black etc but for some reason did two different sets in orange and blue, the first set didn't sell well so trying to find the second has been impossible. They had loads of them, including the Porsche I really wanted - but only #1-5 out of 6 in the set. 6 is a boring casting anyway so not losing any sleep over it. 

These were the 2022 mainline I found

I know the Tooned Golf isn't to everyone's taste but I like it.

Basically, the car goes along under its own steam. Click it and it reverses, whilst turning. Click it again, and it goes straight forward again.

It was for those of us who couldn't afford a proper remote controlled car.

I think it's one of those simple 70s electret microphones. IIRC, there was always a strange bit about all the sonic cars.

Latest completion. I started it as a quick summer holiday project, but the house move tookover and it too longer than planned....

 

 

It's the 1:24 Eunos by Tamiya. No engine detail but the suspension and underside is nicely done. Wheels are Aoshima accessory items.
