I was given a box of cars recently, there were some interesting bits in there as I'm sorting through it - anyone know what these Corgi trailers carried/were towed by?

the golden one looks like the one i had that came with a black (JPS?) lotus eclat and black (JPS?) lotus 1970s F1 racing car.

i've no idea about the other one.

As @flat4alfaposted earlier, JPS set for the gold one

Not sure if I have the F1 car as I kept taking them apart as wheel donors

I do have the Rancho that tows the red trailer he also ID'd earlier, but not the bikes

There's also a bright yellow version of the car trailer that came with a Duckhams-liveried Ferrari Daytona and F1 car set. I still have mine from when I was young.

Carrying the Surtees IIRC

Also the white one carrying the Yardley McLaren

Is it Tat Wednesday yet?

Could be - I've been eyeing up a little job lot local to me and decided to grab it. Main point of interest being a slightly down at heal white K-7

20210818_113330.thumb.jpg.b640c6076a3595492c20dc67db4887e7.jpg

It came with mostly Corgi single seaters that will either be flogged on or become parts donors. Tippex finish on the (well timed) Yardley McLaren is quite special. That and the red Surtees have screwed on bases,  presumably the work of a former keeper

Went away abroad to Cornwall for two weeks.  Got back and the door mat had multiple you-were-out Post Lady cards.

All got redelivered today!

Corgi D2D Club Porsche and the figures arrived

IMG_1044.thumb.JPG.af4149073b5e52749ccf3a0a205c7180.JPG

Crikey I was a bit click happy in July too....  Dinkys and Corgis from a seller who had everything from 99p start and ended at odd times in the middle of the day, so did well there for £16 the lot

IMG_1045.thumb.JPG.9387ed78965783abb578433132a17de4.JPG

Also this model kit, which will probably interest @Spottedlaurel

I hope to (when get round to it, as got a pile of unmade kits up on shelf again) build into a 1:32 slot car in the traditional Hakosuka GTR silver but with a gloss black bonnet.

Saw first one of these at a show in Tokyo and loved seeing in the flesh.  This was ~25 years ago and they were iconic and valuable even then

Delving deeper into the Corgi Catalogues

First issue 1977 as 293 Renault 5 TS

Then together with C428 Renault Police Car from 1978

50730241611_954a62af80_c.jpg.5c813d677fa99e6cb9ffbd13d3c59cd9.jpg

Both deleted and replaced by C294 Renault Alpine for 1980-83 (but still had 'Renault 5 TS' on the base)

50244358283_27eca53d82_c.jpg.be22b25868b59b96c21cda9c619c6083.jpg

Remember the Corgi Renault 5 chat the week?  Never ever had a 5.  Anyhow, fancied this Alpine one because of the tidy stickers and THAT INTERIOR

It has opening things which a helmeted dude is inspecting

Even better than that, it was 99p

It's all your fault.

Results are in: nearside blind is longer, offside blind is same

I've got a 1:32 Jadatoys GTR from the Fat and Furryus range. Amazing detail for around £13 if I remember correctly.

I'd like to find the three different types of K-53 firemen. I have both black ones with white helmets and the detailed blue rear passenger - I'd like to find the matching driver for him. Not really into figures but ones similar to that are quite nice to put around appropriate cars.

What did you find?

That Darda R5 is lovely. I'm glad someone else has bought it as I'm working hard to not buy any more diecast.

I have a reasonable Commer milk float frame but am after a van or pickup body instead

The red one on the right was in the toy box at my Nan’s when I was small.  Painted it last year, can’t part with it so wanted to do something with it.  Is a Transolighter too

The plastic body ‘Hong Kommer’ isn’t going to fit without cutting it about

Yes.

Specifically, I have an ambulance body that's been painted but is otherwise intact.  Any help to you?
