Hello, I dun bought some modelshite at teh aukshunz today - would you fine folks be able to give me some advice/assistance re it?

I bought a job lot of 82 cars with many doublers/triplers or more. Mainly Corgi and none of them boxed.

I've had a quick pass through and reckon on keeping just one of each multiple, with the rest being shunted on.

I know none of them have any major value, but I'd appreciate some advice re expected values - and if you chaps have interest I may do a shiter special for sale threads:)

here are some pics-I cannput up more if needed!

Not seeing anything of mega value there but the Corgi stuff will all find buyers on that there Ebay.    When I move stuff like this on it usually goes quite well in batches of similar stuff - eight Land Rovers, or 6 Jags etc.   Juggle with the numbers to maximise postage - I can usually post 6 Land Rovers or similar for about three quid.

As its cold out and I still have my anorak on......T4 isnt a Doka (DOppel KAbine -  double or crewcab,) just a regular pickup.

Moving swiftly on, those D Types are nice....

320 touring the Siku cherry picker will worth ££££ so list it on its own. The Jaga are worthless really - they came hung off promotional GTX packs amongst other things. I actually bought one off the parts counter of Grange Jagwahr about 20 years ago for pennies!

Stop everything! Everyone!

Greenlight announced a 1/24 scale 1974 Dodge Monaco Sedan in Blues Brothers livery

And as if this wasn't the damn best news since 1980, they will also release a 1/24 scale 1975 Dodge Monaco Sedan in Chicago Police livery!

The Bluesmobile is number GL84011 and the '75 Chicago police car is number GL84012.
Release is scheduled for August.
RRP in USA is $24.99 a piece, which translates to...uh...£79.95 in rip-off Blighty.

Love these little Matchbox Transit pickups,

This one was playworn, but not too bad,

axles were bent so drilled apart and treated to new wheels and a coat of paint.

Found the packing case while rummaging through a box of rubbish up in the loft.

Must have been there since I was a kid.

Cute a Suzuki SJ413. Äh... one moment please...

Posted

Nope bigger than an SJ, looks like Rickman may have sold the moulds to someone overseas, the real things here in the UK were normally based on old RWD Ford bits, and I'm sure someone on here is a Rangerperve

Posted

Stunning discovery (well, its actually better than a Discovery, but you know what I mean).....I just saw reference to it in the Ranger thread.   Who'd have thought?

Posted

I know, looks to be a DeAgostini partwork effort, and I may just have the gubbins in 'stock' to make it a right hand drive example too, just hope my Weller look wheels I have fit it

Dear Mr Lobster

I herewith declare, that for the record, and in history, I am demanding to be the first one to be put on the top of the waiting list for the 1/24 scale Greenlight Bluesmobile and Chi-Town cop car. I don't give a flying monkey how much they are, I just bloody WANT them. Period.

Do something, FFS!

Now that we have the technicalities sorted, would you other gentlemen please be so kind and acknowledge, that the queue is behind me?

My meagre collection, used to have loads as a kid but numerous house moves meant they all disappeared over time.
