It is! £10 on it; not repainted either.

I think I'll pass for now, and on the Ferrari. Been spending too much lately ?

How about another die-cast clearout? Dominic had been through his playworn and decided what he isn't keeping. Consider all to be spares/repairs/playworn.

Ranging from a couple of quid for decent 1:43ish size, 50p for 1:64, 10p for Chinese crap.

These last two show how easy it is to skip from one background subject to the next, without disturbing the foreground. Sort of like how a green screen works but not at all in the same way, at the same time!

I am getting a little better but am still struggling with the backgrounds being backlit and then battling either with natural lighting for the foregrounds, or using lights which are far too warm in colour temperature, although I did come up with a rather left-field solution to the latter issue.

I'll persevere though, as I'm finding some great images. Practise makes perfect!

I'm annoyed with myself.

I've been trying to find a black pearl Vanguards Rover 75. The spec of the model is identical to mine.

They seem really hard to find but I finally found one on eBay and put it on my watch list but for some reason I didn't get a notification that it was due to end. It was in the middle of the afternoon too when a lot of people are working so it only went for £16. Other Vanguard 75s have been going for around £40 which is out of the question.

The search continues.

I've been the same myself on eBay lately, missed out on some crackers while I've been at work during the day.

My mates model shop has the Vanguards 75 in BRG for £15 if that's any use?

Sorry to leave you all on tenterhooks, folks... my phone, which was merely irritatingly glitchy and slow earlier on, is now in a bit of a huff with the SD card, and is refusing to acknowledge its existence at all. It claims there is no SD card inserted, where in actual fact it has been in situ for several years without any prior problems... so it won't let me take any more photos of today's haul, or retrieve the ones taken earlier...

Stand by while a workaround is devised!

What!!!  I need a ZT (preferably green) and a 75 (preferably blue) but I'm totally not prepared to pay that sort of price.

These arrived at the beginning of the week

Thanks to @Amishtat for sending!

And, finally, another few weirdos lying distraught behind the stall - of which the Hot Wheels Porsche (clearly branded Corgi on the base) may be of interest to someone?

Yes, I would.

Been out on missions all day, glad I didn't miss a mint boxed Spot On Beetle for 17p or similar

Good-o: will see if he brings the Not-Wheels Porker along next week!

Feels more like some of advanced 4D memory training test than a simple commercial transaction, the way he re-organises the stall from week to week...

Pics of the rest of the day's pickings incoming!

I've got a couple of loose ex-Corgi Hot Wheels Carreras, but not seen a Corgi car in a Hot Wheels box. Don't normally chase boxed stuff but that's an interesting one.

Other than the Carrera I've not had much luck with the ex Corgi castings, maybe they were aimed at the US market rather than where they'd been seen before?

You would have had to pay at least 25p for that!

Mmmmmm....needs a wheel swap and silver paint.

I wonder how the kids of the 60's felt about their new Husky Beetle being LHD? Maybe it was meant to represent Hans and Helga on the UK leg of an European tour

Hot Wheels describe this as a GMC Motorhome, did they really make such a 6 wheel behemoth?

Now this is LHD and rightly so, not sure Ford specified such skinny rims and tyres on the Mustang Mach 1, but Siku decided that was appropriate
