Local Aldi did have a bit of a restock of newer (K or L case?) stuff. Not as much as they used to stock though, a couple of the boxes at the tills have gone.

As predicted, after getting the Alfa Sprint (expensively) from Morrisons, a couple turned up at Aldi. Still got one to keep in its cardboard and plastic home and set the Morrisons one with it's stupid security sticker free.

Would you like better pictures Eddy?

I connected a battery to the LR and it makes noises when pressed down but is missing a screw in bulb from the top… Corgitronics.

That would be kind of you, so yes please.  I didn't realise the Landy was a Corgitronic.  They're not something I've had much to do with, so I'm not sure what difference it makes to me, if any.

Nope. Just daft ladies with stick-on lashes, wearing pyjamas and slippers (in the middle of the afternoon) living their life through their ‘phone screens

Boot sale #1 was absolutely massive, spilling into the next field and the parking area. It was also rather sunnier than expected, so after 3 hours there and a couple at the even hotter park and ride one, I was thoroughly toasted. Time to hide in the outhouse and take some pics

This is probably the best bargain today, as generally there wasn't a lot to find. A whole pound changed hands for this Corgi Commer

Due to family issues (!) we were late to the toy fair this morning and had to rush around and leave early, but never mind.

I spotted these for £5 each which was interesting, but decided against.

And a Corgi Whizzwheels Camaro lurking under the table for £1.

It needs a pair of bumpers, a hood, screen and one door card, but I'm pleased to have found one. Some of you may remember I made one from a mix of Camaro and Firebird parts, now I have the real thing!

I started ploughing through the job lot I picked up. There are certainly some unusual (to me, anyway) castings in here, and some oddities with some of the individual cars too. There is a definite whiff of giffer about them, that odd combination of smoke, dust and Werther's Originals.

I'll come back to the Solidos as there are a lot of them, and I got excited about one in particular and forgot to photograph the box...

Schabak I have heard of, I would like to think it's worth a little more than the £7.95 price tag now. That was probably fairly expensive when London telephone numbers still started with "01"

Big Merc is a W126 S-Class. If you ever feel an overwhelming need to rehome it... (And that Schabak Fezza)

White Oldsmobile is quite a rarity, I take it that's original paint?

Yup, seems to be. Has red interior and the later wheels.

Is the HW Beetle of any use to you?

The Majorette I was really pleased to get was the Chrysler 180.

This one I need some help with, as Mercedes model designations are not my strong suit, despite my time at a dealership. I know it was made by NGZ, whoever they may be

What a haul, some absolutely lovely 1/43s in there from quality makes in their day. I can't help with NZG Modell but I have  Christian Salvesen Mercedes Lorry that I got from a charity shop, its really heavy. If I ever get burglars I've made a mental note that this is what I'll twat 'em with 🤣

Schabak XR2i is lovely in black. I have the 1/24 version in red but its sadly rather overwheeled.
