Thanks chaps!

I'm actually most delighted with the Kujira kit, which is seriously rare.

A mobile arcade though? That is just off the wall epic, with severe comedy value. Not jealous MUCH!

Not sure if anybody else has seen these ones - Majorette at Morrisons £1 each.

The Megane is very nicely detailed compared with the others.

Majorettes have always been good value I thought tbh. Used to have shedloads of em as a kid, wuth back then their lethal plastic packaging that you would lacerate your fingers on, and needed scissors or stanley to get into....

Posted

That Megane is well decent for a squid. I have a Norev Duster which I think is just a rebranded Majorette. The detail and accuracy is pretty fine and it makes a nice wee model. Big drug dealer rims not so hot though.

Posted

I've got all the different Majorettes I could find in Morrisons,I think there's 20 or so.Also,if you can find a shop called Store Twenty One,they sell them in there too & there's some they don't have in Morrisons :-D

Anybody fancy a Peugeot 504 in 1/43 scale, £10 plus post of £2, and is mint and the outer packaging is even wrapped in cellophane?

I think I've got pretty much most of the Majorette stuff, they do some really nice models. I know they sell them in Morrisons and whatever but they are easier to get on the continent, plus there is a bigger selection. Previously I bought some harder to find Majorette stuff on eBay but when you factor in postage etc.. it can easily become £5+ for a single car.

Posted

It can, very easily!  If I buy on ebay, it has to be something I really really want these days.    Corgi Hillman Hunter project, for example, but even then, the price has to be right because I know I'm going to get hit for postage.

Well, Morrisons provided me with a Majorette Renault Kangoo van earlier so I'm happy. Off to France in a few weeks so we shall see what we can turn up there :)
