Got these majorette cars from some pound shop the other week. Mk1 Yaris with opening bonnet and a asbo'd Mk1 Focus.

I've the Yaris. The quality is fairly poor though in comparison to what they used to be. Will likely become worth something as discussed before - aimed at children and quite fragile! Also the subject matter as well, one day when people are restoring Yarises etc scene tax

Restored Corgi Renault 16. Picked the beige colour, felt it had a bit of a late 1960's look to it. Quite impressed with this one, definitely one for the shelf now!

They are, i have a 405 picked up at a car show a few years back and its much better quailty.

Those Corgi 16s are ace. I remember being excited to find the one with the camera on the back at a Swapmeet in 1990 when you could still spot the real thing.

Once again I have bought the car so needed a model this time I had to send to Holland for it.

These are ace!   When I was 11 me and a couple of mates used to take the bus into town (we were just getting into clothes and music).   Debenhams were flogging off unboxed Corgi Toys in a damaged stock sale for 40p.

 .

I grabbed a burgundy 16 (pre-Whizzwheels) even though it was missing the back window.   Got the piss took out of me for buying "toy cars" but I still have the 16.   I don't think the other fellas even still have their hair.....

Now have full access to my Granddad's collection of mostly 1930s era Corgi, Ledo and Matchbox cars if anyone is interested in making an offer for any of them

I have a great many Lobster cars to share pictures of...

However, today's acquisition from a car boot sale breaks all my current rules - specifically "I'm only buying models of cars I have owned".

There's a reason, though. When visiting six-cylinder's collection, there's one car I have a massive, irrational love for. Maybe it's the colour. Maybe it's the little story that popped into my head partly as an allegory for the never-satisfied materialistic nature of some people.

Lots of nice stuff there, I had a few when younger but nothing like that....one I had that I always liked was an Austin Cambridge that had steering wheel on the roof to steer it, no idea who made it though then again prob corgi or matchbox.

Aye, pale blue British School Of Motoring if I remember correctly.

You are correct, it does say WRC on the bottom.

Any interest in this lot before they go to ebay/the charity shop? Should all be boxed apart from the E Type and Ferrari, but putting all the bits together could take me a while

Managed to get most of them together now - the Delta is boxed with the stand but is missing a mirror, the Morgan is in good condition with the stand but no box. £12 delivered for each?

Some recent small scale tinkerings,

Used some old '70's superfast wheels on the grey Transit,

think they really suit it 8)

This was the closest that I could find to my Megane.

Vitesse model but it has opening doors which makes me think that it is an old Solido casting or something.

Replied to PMs, really should create a proper for sale thread as I have even more of them lying around

£3 quid for a 1/18 is a bargain. I picked up an old Bburago Ferrari 288 GTO at my local car boot sale for that and it was near mint.

^ sounds like a good idea, although as I'm supposed to be trimming stuff down and packing that may not go well....

Anyhow, picked this up nice and cheap.

It'll be going into my Escort Cosworth as a nice visual upgrade
