I've not really found anything of interest in the local stores,apart from a store called Pepco which is Europes answer to Home Bargains.

The last time I popped in I grabbed these 3,and was pleasantly surprised to find they now sell Matchbox.

The package from @Andyrew was intercepted by the Mrs,and most of the Citreons within were claimed before I saw them ...

Do you have any more @Andyrew?

I did find a nice Celica Supra which reminded me of my old Supra, however once it arrived I noticed it didn't have the wide arches like mine,and the wrong wheels, and mine was a 2 tone paint job..

So still looking for a Supra it seems.

I'll put it on the list alongside the Hotwheels Foresters ..

AutoArt 1:18 Impreza STi wagon. I think these are reasonably scarce and can fetch strong money, but I’m not looking to be greedy.

Burago 1:24 Tipo with opening doors and steerable front wheels!

Got a small project off the bench today. 
Partwork Renault 12 estate that donated its wheels to the Renault 17 I’m working on. I found some replacement wheels of a different style for this estate and fitted them. 
Then decided it was a nice enough basis to have a little extra added. So it’s also had a few extra details picked out like the door handles in silver, that little bit of white trim in the lower corners of the rear door windows, number plates painted white & yellow. Then a dark wash applied to the panel lines to give them a bit more depth and make it look slightly more ‘lived in’.
Repainted the interior too as it’s just plain black plastic as it comes. Did this one a saddle brown colour to go with the yellow body.

Started another project to take its place too. 
Corgi Motoring Memories Escort mk1 van. Unfortunately these are the only van available as far as I know (for £cheap anyway!). It’s an old casting now and it’s also not a particularly good one either! 
It looks like a mk1 Escort van but it’s just not right around the front end and windscreen area. The front wings look odd too. So since it bothers me so much I decided to combine the MM’s van with a newer Vanguard’s mk1 front end. Actually one of the Atlas branded Vanguard’s but same thing.

Eventually decided how & where to make the cuts. Almost took my finger off in the process too, que - blood everywhere and a cleanup!😆

Loads of trial fitting and filing bits down.

As it is now the roof overhang of the old casting needs thinning to let the body drop down more and the swage lines of the two halves to align better. The old casting is also marginally wider than the new so a bit of work to join them that way too.

And fear not, it won’t be getting a Mexico paint job and big ugly rimz, it’ll be much more standard and how one should look.

I spent a whole £1.50 on these two last night at the toyfair.

The Galanite buggy could go in the collection if I had one😄.The Maisto SLK has got a wonky dashboard,this gives me an excuse to open it up & fit some nicer wheels.

I had a bit of time to kill this afternoon,so called into the charity shop near work & picked up this huge plastic Focus for £1.50,Matchbox Escort to give an idea of size.The Focus is available if anyone wants it,it does have a wobbly rear axle but should be easy enough to fix
