After a few weeks of using it daily, the dull knock from the front suspension became a lot louder, I got the car jacked up at the front and found the driver's side strut completely detached from the car.

 

The previous owner had sheared one of the two top mount studs off and glued a nut over the broken bit, eventually the other stud sheared leaving me with a complete deathshed, luckily I had one in a box of spares at work, otherwise I'd be putting the boot up the spotty little git who had it before me for bodging it so badly in the first place.

Thread of the Year: Ebay thread again although the banger racing thread which turned into a fridge racing thread was inspired as was Luxo's punture thread. Oh and i can't forget Vin's Screen Grab Thread either!

 

Autoshite of the Year (Best Car): Another tough call, I guess Dollywobblers BX estate has been impressive, especially after i said I'd eat my hat if he ever got that on the road.

 

Autoshit of the Year (Worst Car - please only nominate your own stuff, I don't want to make people cry): I don 't really have a worse car, All have been pretty decent although my modern Mondeo has been costly this year.

 

Best road trip for new shite: Alexg's Allagro is still fresh in my mind but the management's trip to France to collect the Simca was brilliant and my winner, and although it wasn't to collect shite, Boodydoo's road trip to France to attend the Talbot Tagora's birthday celebrations was brilliant.

 

Picture of the year: Any one of Wat's I'd imagine!.

 

Ebay find of the year: Was the badly painted blue Maxi with "MAXI" in big writing on the rear this year?

 

Spot of the year: My green Strada spot! ok then It will have to be Brammy's Tagora then!

I think the blue Maxi might actually have been 2009 Trig! Scary how time flies. I spotted it roadside in January 2010 when on holiday in the stripy BX - that was before we moved to Wales, which was late 2010.
