That broken pic in the OP is barely 1/4 inch across so I'd just pop it in an envelope and post it over :)

Here you go, Would they not fit in the back of a Mercedes Sprinter LWB or something, I'm sure you can wizz over to Paris and back in less then a day, not that I've tried it.

I reckon you'd get four of them in a luton (or maybe LWB Sprinter) of some sort. You could do Paris and back over a 2 day rent with a day return on Eurotunnel. Either that or post it on Shiply.

Why don't four of us go down on the train and drive them back? Slowest road trip EVAR.

There was one semi complete & one shell for sale on the bay of tatness recently. They look severely shite to me

Now that is proper microshite. Forget a Sprinter van, I reckon you'd fit one of those in the boot of my Ligier. Excellent purchase - what are your plans for them?

Thats my mates garage :-) I saw that one, it was about the size of a large teapot!

Assuming they are legal to drive (CT exempt?), I would definitely be up for that! Paris isn't that far from Calais.

They arent mine, a customer has bought them on Ebay, he already has 2 Acoma's/mescherschmitt/isetta/ligier and all sorts of weird stuff.

He already someone that was supposed to be picking them up but they have let him down

He had a quote of about £450 to get the 4 collected or £700 if they grabbed the fifth one from the alps

I'd guess he doesnt want to grab them himself and I dont fancy getting them, van rental+ferry+fuel wouldnt give much profit for the time spent.

I got my wires crossed, they are 5 different cars, they are as follows.

1 Ligier in the Alps Montée de Saint Andéol 26260 BREN

The four cars above Paris are:-Snuggy /Arola/Addax/Mini Comtesse

Dimensions:

Length Width Height Weight

Arola 1900mm 1100mm 1800mm 190kg

Ligier 1974mm 1280mm 1422mm 215kg

Addax 1800mm 950mm 1570mm

Mini Comtesse 1680mm 890mm 1230mm 135kg

Snuggy 2200mm 1200mm 1350mm

£822 total shipping

Wow, this guy sounds like a hardcore micro perv, those things have about zero appeal to anyone but a total headcase. I guess sans permis is pretty much the only way into microcar ownership for non-millionaires these days, sadly.

Point him in the direction of this page, there are lots of 'useful' options for him:

Actually I think the usual route is to stick three on a trailer side by side, and I guess you could get the other two in a Sprinter or something and use that as the tow vehicle. Wouldn't fancy your chances if you got tugged by the VOSA though

I'd be sending an email to the Top Gear office...

From Paris to Bren is an extra 680 miles make no wonder they backed out.

Am I the only one to see the irony in Barrett's post?:lol::lol:

Hey, I never said I wasn't a headcase! I would deffo blezz about in a Mini Comtesse but even I fail to see how travelling in something like this would be any fun whatsoever

If you wang them in a Sprinter (or similar) take 4 bits of 12" wide by 24" long bits of ply and some nails, then you can get over the ply lined arches. Used to do this to shift towable generators in a Merc.

I'd drive one back.

So long as I didn't have to do the Arc D'Triomphe intersection. Then again, I could probably carry the sod down and under on the subway, and then eat un baguette jambon.

A couple of years back I stood there 2am, pissed and mesmerised at the antics 8)

Couldn't you tow them back, Pete?

With that 300bhp 4wd estate car you bought to bring the Escort back...

That still hasn't actually happened yet. I started using the Jag for a couple of weeks and fell back in love with the thing, so it's off getting some work done to get it tip top again. The Jeep is looking like the likely tow chariot at the moment....

The Legnum Mad Bastard is still there if I want it, but at the moment I'm over capacity.
