...anyone got one to share?

Found this this morning after randomly stumbling on a reference to 4WD Zephyrs on the web. Never knew thay had made a 4WD version and there's a bit about them on here plus one hell of a funky Mk4 camper which looks home made but possibly isn't...

I knew about the 4wd version years ago, and I also can remember seeing photos of the oddball camper version a few years back. Not a bad spot though.

interesting timing... as someone on RR has a FF system from a capri for sale, I emailed Norm but he said he has two already

I did some digging about the Zodiac version a few years back when one appeared on ebay, the seller wanted 35K

The Zodiac camper thing (assuming it's the same one, haven't checked the link yet) was built by Ginetta so the Walkett brothers could save on hotel rooms whilst following the 'works' racers around....

Live relay of current shipping information. Shows exactly what ships are bobbing around wherever you like (I enter Harwich in the Port box), and tells you everything you could possibly want to know about them. Just cursor over the ship and it tells you its age and displacement, who it's operated by, where it's heading and at what speed.

Addictive stuff.

Thanks for that, I had it bookmarked on my old laptop but it had not made its way across. It is indeed a very nerdy but somewhat enjoyable way to kill alot of time!

That's brilliant. Cheers!

One of my favourite bits is putting Alang or Chittagong as destination and seeing how many ships are making their final journey to the breakers.

This guy has put a blog together with a "death row" list of ships that are next for the "weighbridge". http://merseyshipping.blogspot.com/

Well I might as well whore mine although I'm sure most of you already know it, I have a very large collection of road tests that i have scanned from car magazines from the 1960's through to the 90's, It's taken 100's of hours of work so far but i know i have a lot of fans, Over 4.6 million hits so far in the 3 years that I've been doing it.

To view the photos in a more readable format you need to be logged into Flickr and click on view large, I'm currently working my way through the American Motor Trend magazines.

I too have been following the adventures of the ships in the English channel and around the world. I recently watched a ship with a destination port given heading for another town on the coast of New Zealand with a similar name and a river mouth but no port. Fortunately they realised their mistake and turned away sharpish before it got interesting.

It is interesting to see how many tankers are lying at anchor off the east coast of England and in the anchorages of Belgium and Holland. Tankers are all coloured red and the little ship shape turns into a diamond when they are stationary. There can be up to a hundred either waiting for orders, or if the price of oil is likely to increase waiting for the price to go up. Either way I find it all rather worrying, these ships are not cheap to keep hanging around doing nothing.

Citroen DS Porn

All in French and sometimes the auto translate misses the humour. What better way is there to spend a snowy Sunday? (actually its mild and grey here in Kent).

what colours were used in which years and if you delve deeply into the site there is a lot of interesting stuff including some nsfw pictures of DS cars with young ladies getting in the way.

...some of the questions are class, you often get shit like 'does the train to Manchester actually stop in Manchester', 'why does a red light come on the dash when the handbrake is on' and far stupider things than those.

On the odd occasion I've suggested 'how about using the fucking internet search engines to find out' and got voted 'best answer'.

I've been in contact with a chap who has a blog called 'Scuderia Obsoleto'. I made contact via Fiatforum as he made a request for pictures of the 900t door bottoms which I was able to sort him out with - he intends to rebuild the bottoms of the ones on his Amigo.

This his blog - http://spannerdude.wordpress.com/

I must say, his metal bashing skills are AMAZING.

Check out his rebuild of his 900T's rear crossmember. CLASS 8).

Christ there's a lot of them, and scarily 95% of them seem to involve a motorbike or push cycle.

Good Grief, Vin, I JUST found your award winning coverage of your resto work on the 900 T - almost unbelievable - I am in awe

and the Scudo Obso guy is also well talented - I just wish I had such skills to keep my 900 E Pasta from vanishing in the moisture...

thanks indeeeed, and keep up the good work. ( I do have a pair of original 12" rims if you need them at a later stage...)

Oh, and are you aware of this French site, dedicated to the 900 series ? The google translated version is great fun !!!
