I’m not an artist, but yes. They usually photograph them against the red-brick derelict building on the corner, or the aircraft hanger that they are stored in ( it used to house the goodyear blimp in the 1980s).

Pretty much everything coming up to sale next weekend at Sotheby’s was outside my window today - I didn’t seem to get much work done! No pics from work, as there was a sign for once saying no photos. But as I left work this afternoon some presumably very rich person was looking over a mclaren f1 to buy ( a silver one L40 MCL or similar). Their rolls Royce phantom was basically abandoned blocking several parking spaces and their black suited and tied “security” was in a Range Rover. Someone else had a pagani and there was also a Japanese thing with an enormous wing in the same party. Very flash and attention seeking lot- when Nick mason turns up to take delivery he’s on his own!

Went for a walk this morning as the sky was bright blue at 8am. Drove down the a30, past blackbushe which had a Land Rover meeting and up to bramshill. One of the very few ( but huge) houses on the walk had a Morris minor and a silver shadow under bits of tarpaulin on the drive.

It’s not consequence free though - what is the downside? Fuel or longevity?
