'Maxpeeding Rods (also known as maxspeeding rods) Taking Leaps Into Your Vehicle' - that's just fantastic.

And here he is - Max P Dingrod...

Mate of mine runs Maxspeedingrods in his Mk2 golf that runs in VWDRC pro and Street Eliminator.  He's making stupendous power for 1.8 litres, seeing 10 second standing quarter mile passes in a car that's road legal.

When I bought a Lucas dizzy last year, I looked carefully at the Chinese options and then bought from India. The difference in the quality of finish on the items were clear to see. But for what you are paying, I could be tempted to try a Chinese carb.

As in he has the nicely priced gold and black coilovers on his golf, or as in he's the UK rep for them?

Where can you get Indian Lucas Dizzys from? I assume the ones Powerspark and co are the Chinese ones?

As in he uses a set of their Conrods in his engine. He's not affiliated with them, he just buys cheap Chinese stuff and tests to destruction chasing down quarter mile times.

I am not going to touch that Chinese shit with a barge pole.

Come on.

A country that has a 4,000 year history, invented paper, ink, gun powder and fireworks, but is unable to realise that two knitting needles aren't an appropriate means of conveying food from a plate to your mouth?

Give me a fucking break.
