Fog plaiting: any one want a Mondeo?

Would summise my chances of selling this on here are akin to waking up next to Emma Bunton, but here goes anyhow:

 

2001 Mondeo 2.0 (Duratech? Duratorque? Duracell?) petrol, five door. MOT'd until March 2012, taxed until the end of September 2011.

Black leather interior with electric driver's seat. Air con (seems to blow really cold so assume working), remote locking, all that sort of old bollocks.

Drives well, have a new ball joint here which I'll have fitted before it goes.

Nice* 17 Dotz alloys (these were daft money when new) which have 215/45/17 tyres on the rear and 205/40/17s on the front. Front tyres brand new by the way.

Steering wheel controls for the stereo, power steering, yadda yadda.

'Helpfully' it also has tinted rear windows, which look ok fairly close up but are actually a bit of a shit job, and a touring car style white sunstrip, though all that shit should be easy to remove.

Drives nicely, very clean in and out and seems to pull very well. 133k (will double check) on the clock. Will be having a new balljoint fitted soon as I get chance. Odd ding/carpark mark but aside from the chavvy extras it's not really a bad old bus and any inspection is welcomed.

£995 ono, it's in Chester, Cheshire. It'd de-chav easily enough and I suspect the wheels alone would fetch £250-£300 if (when) you decided you didn't like them.

Yuck @ alloys, if this was mine, I'd have most certainly binned the alloys and chucked some steel-wheels with proper Mondeo wheel-trims on it, or failing that, some Mondeo alloys.

 

I like the colour though, hard-to-keep-clean Diamond White. I mustard mitt its a bit strange seeing an LX with full leather interior.

The mondeo looks alright actually and that's a nice interior. Unfortunatly I agree about the wheels being rank.

There's something about wheels with too much air between the spokes that makes them look consistantly rubbish.
