Volga?

Yep. A GAZ 24 Volga. Looks like a very late 70s/early 80s example with the overriders on the bumper

Good grief, I recognised  the Victor reg number from Randall and Hopkirk, how sad am I?  🙈

Googlefoo shows it used in "Deparment S" along with the Ventora, I vaguely remember that series. 😎

I spotted the number did as well, both series shared production teams & the cars managed to appear in both shows.

A quick note on the postcards: even in the 1970s they were taken on black and white film and then pale prints were made and hand coloured with dye. Because colour film didn't give a bright enough image. That is why you tend to get a lot of cars the same bright red etc.  And the sky is always bright blue! The resulting coloured photo was then reshot for litho printing.

I can't work out if the owner of DPD was brave or just plain fruitbat. The Messerschmitt* doesn't look too happy about things!
