Wow!, Now that is a good spot!, Is that a 15 or a 17?, I can't tell? I love the styling of those.

It's a 17, IIRC 15s have square lights.

I'm rather biased against Vauxhalls and Fords and wouldn't have one if I was paid to take it although I did have a MKII Fiesta for a couple of years that gave sterling service but wouldn't say no to one of those or its sister Cortina.

ETA:

No camera of course as an early SAAB 93 puttered past as I was taking my daughter to recover her SAAB 9-3* from the exhaust fixers. Never have a camera when I needs one (phone had died in my pocket :(

At the fixers was a wealth of automemorabilia and again cameraless.

*Not really but it is identical to a 9-3 and has the same reg as some 9-3s around here but is a late 900

Some beauties there! Victor estate and Consul Classic leap out at me, gorgeous. I remember when Marinas looked like that first pic, I even drove one once that could have posed for it.

Why does it take eight bricks to hold the bonnet down?

Posted

More likely to stop it flying 30ft in the air when the turrets rot out and the springs are suddenly unloaded.

Anyway, spot of P38 and they'll be right.

That Merc pick-up is crackin'. Must be hens teeth in right hand drive.
