Sorry, my shite backgrounds have been relegated:

ScreenHunter_02Sep192203.jpg

Used to have my 2cv on its side, my aggro and one that I pinched from here. Someone had taken a pic of a Mk2 Escort in a carpark at night, on their phone and it was ace. Maybe I can find it and add, to make up for the OT above

Mine is this but only because it's a fresh install and that was the only photo on the local disk. (PS. what's wrong with the picture?)

No, not a computer geek thing, It's the reason I took the photo in the first place. Look very closely at it.

I have to use a piggyback program called StarDock MyCol[o]urs to change the wallpaper on my netbook, because it's only running W7 Starter.

When it's my turn, I plaster up some dirty old crap and see how long until she's sick of the sight of it!

I just nicked this for my desktop KJ - hope you don't mind!

Since the White Austin-Rover wallpaper I had in my previous post, I got rid of that as the bright background got on my nerves so had 'no wallpaper' in the background.

But I did have Waderiders shot of an abandonned LDV for a bit recently:

I've gone back to no wallpaper though as my computer is determined to run slow. Its old and nearing the end of its life, again.

I've tried in the past few years to have pictures of my own cars as wallpaper but they just remind me of how much money I'm spending on them and just end up making me grumpy. I might put up my old White 825 Sterling as thats the only car thats seen me through good and tough times and never gave up (well...until it finally blew its engine)

This netbook has win7 starter on it, as far as I can see it serves no useful purpose! I played with it a little out of curiosity but it is very slow (even the mouse pointer) despite not actually doing anything except display the desktop. I partitioned the drive and am using debian/xfce instead.

Well impressed by the number of Linux users on the Mint distro (my choice on my laptop)

My main PC at home has a photo taken by my Mrs at Southport airshow this year.

Is that a parody of the default XP wallpaper?

Mine isn't very AS, and new-ish laptop still hasn't been fully programmed up, but this still entertains me:

A plate check shows it as Reg '91 - Untaxed '94? Unless it had a 'short but glorious life' and someone blew the engine... or it languished in some dodders garage for an age... it may have been parked in this field for 19yrs
