  1. The doors and heater box are now on my Rebel. Such a shame it was scrapped, it even had M.O.T! There are around 30-40 Rebels now left on the road.
  2. Reliant Rebel Van, the rarest of the Rebel model (Estate, Saloon and Van varients made)
  3. As I said over on the R3W, Fantastic work Joe. I wish I had the get up and go to sort my Rebel out! I'd love to do a chassis off rebuild but I have too many excuses . On the subject of disc brakes this Rebel nicknamed 'GUS' now owned by R3W Forum member Mark Taylor has had the disc brake conversion and the previous owner (Forum Member JPB) will probably tell you all you need to know about the conversion and anything else about Rebels! GUS uses Hillman Imp wheels to make room for the conversion.
  4. Any pics? Can it be saved? Paddy,
  5. I'm a member of the R3W Forum and they're very helpful in terms of sourcing parts, have a look on there. Some people give them away for nothing! You may be lucky. http://www.r3w.co.uk/forum Paddy.
  6. Mmm, I'm not a fan! Welcome from Halifax! Reliant Rebel owner and Soon to be Reliant Scimitar SS1 shite here!
  7. Sounds about right by their standards!+
  8. The whole arse end of this car is just downright clumsy, look at the number plate lights!
  9. Being a Reliant owner it can be rather annoying when looking at eBay listings seeing a Rialto advertised as a 'Robin Reliant'. I'm no Reliant anorak though! The owners are pretty easy to wind up with Robin Reliant phenomena. Paddy.
  10. My dad had an Asia Rocsta and it was awesome, great fun and an extremely capable 4WD system. VERY bumpy but that was part of the fun.
  11. That'll be a BN1 'Robin'. When Reliant shut down a company called BN1 Plastics took over making the Robin. That shut down a couple of years after (if that). .
  12. I'm a Reliant Rebel owner and a frequent poster over on the R3W Forum. James is a nice chap, I've bought quite a few parts from him and gives me help and advice when I ask for it. There just over 20 Rebels left that are roadworthy with M.O.T. There are quite a few being restored which is good, the 3 wheeled Reliants are declining due to no brainer banger racers. Some of 'em are alright though like offering parts on the forum. I'd love a Mk1 Robin with a Galvanised chassis.
  13. Switch to the screen that you want to to do screen capture Hold down Apple key + Shift + 3 and release all then use your mouse to click on the screen Done. You will see a picture file in at your desktop. That’s the screen capture picture
  14. That Imp looks lovely, I bet that Reg is worth a few bob an' all.
  15. I hate those Halfords chargers. Get an Absaar
  16. Rebel Estates look really nice IMO. One off the net. One I spotted, hiding behind a galvanised lamp post.
  17. Good on you Gareth. I'd like to drive a De Tomaso Pantera on some nice country roads. Turn up at a shoot in a mint early 2 door Range Rover. Race a Mk1 Lotus Cortina. List goes on
  18. I spot a gold RR Silver Shadow II It's nice how the London Taxis haven't changed all that much in shape. Thanks for posting! Patrick.
