Not gonna be able to make this anymore unfortunately, with the Daimler breaking down I’ve had to change the date for my weekend in Yorkshire and it unfortunately clashes with this, I’ll still try my best for shitefest though

that's a shame. I was looking forward to seeing the 5 series

I should be able to make this. I dug the Triumph out of the garage today and will give it a run over the weekend. Hopefully it's OK. I mean it was fine the last time I put it away but that doesn't always mean it will work when you get it out again. Otherwise it will be the Škoda, but either way I should be there.

If all goes well I'll actually have a choice of 3 working classics (Favorit, Xedos and my new addition due next Thursday) to take this year having had to resort to bringing my daily driver last year, but won't speak too soon!

I'll be away on holiday next week so can't make this unfortunately.  Have a good time!

The Lotus has the least things wrong with it, but it's strictly a fair weather vehicle.

Lotus + umbrella. Sorted!

There is a chance we'll all need umbrellas, but hopefully it will stay fine. 22 degrees already here on the South Coast today.

The XM looks better when wet.
Silver lining's and that 😅

My sinuses are still giving me gip and I’m coughing my lungs up night and day. Chances of me leaving my bedroom this weekend are slim to none.

Have fun without me.

I’ll aim to be there  for 10am, and based on previous years we’ll be there for at least a couple of hours, most probably longer.

Well folks, we’re looking at a reasonable 12degs C and good weather until midday then 50/50 chance of rain after that.
There are covered areas we can sit and shelter if it comes to that but obvs our corner of the car park is in the open so maybe pop an umbrella or a pac-a-mac  in the  boot just in case.

From a quick tot up I think we've got 14/15 coming so it should be fun!

Just a quick reminder the sink hole is still blocking the A25 through Godstone so if you’re coming from Redhill direction heading East there’s a bit of a detour but it’s only a few miles. Otherwise safe journeys all and see you in the front corner of the car park from 10am!

I'm pretty sure most of us were there a fair bit over 2 hours last time.

I've just had a look and I took photos at about 1 o'clock and I didn't go straight after taking them.

I’ll certainly try and be there. Depends on weather if I’m in the new car though,

I'd love to perv on it, if you think she'll brave it.

Not looking promising I am afraid. Car fine ( although a hub cap made a bid for freedom earlier), just think I need to get out for some exercise not sit in a car for a couple of hours.

The Triumph has been washed, a probably futile exercise given the state of the paint, and is parked at the front of the queue ready for the morning.

Plus three tapes have been selected so we're ready to go. I have no back seat or floor carpet as that's work in progress but they're not important are they?

Edit: There aren't many cars that make a VW Up! look big.

Will be in the modern TIPO ( just as rare, if not more so) . Planned a walk first in the locale, so should be there around 11.

I washed the Audi earlier in the week as it was filthy. That was a signal for numerous birds to use it for target practise, so had to do a rushed 2-bucket wrong 'un this afternoon.
