When did you last see a C4 Coupe?

After the first winner backed out, does anyone know who actually won it or how to find out? Asking for my daughter a friend.

By the way I just happened to find a pic of the V6 engined C4 I mentioned further back

Oddly saw one on Gumtree yesterday, a 1.6 but it still looked pretty good, a much better looking car in 3dr, like a golf.

Was about £500 with an MOT.

In Doom blue of course.

Yeh that silicate bag was a great idea 😂. That and leaving a load of casting sand in the engine block really “ helps “ coolant flow 🙄

Well I'll defend Honda 100% here as they were VERY keen to get the sand castings fully out of the heads.

I modded the PLC program to do so on all models we produced as it didn't always work, was a bit too reliant on different sensors for each type of engine. I put it on a timer in the program in the end so it just came on for a set period of time rather than if and when it saw a certain engine.

The idea was to hammer out all the hard sand then only pulse the air through on the vibrate cycle.

I spent an entire evening on the machine once as a lying cunt operator claimed he'd jammed his hand in the machine door as it closed by itself which, as Honda always believed production over maintenance, must have been true. It wasn't, the machine had a two hand start that I'd wired up correctly as one of my first jobs in the department as they'd had it bypassed as they struggled to understand safety circuits for years. This guy was fresh back from the sick, must have known it was an issue previously, then tried to stitch us up for it.

They were quite fastidious about proving something was as they said it was 🤣🤣🤣.

He never admitted it.

I think he jammed it elsewhere and tried to get a claim from it.

Oh, I see it a lot.
The police station is about 300 yards from where that picture was taken.
And no, I'm not.

Well, Fake Me !!!   that loiks like it's been standing a long time there...

Is it one of your stable,  or an AI  photoshop creation  🤔

Looks like a facelift 1991  Euro spec 300hp C4,   sold new in Uk,

judging by those fugly folding Rolls Royce mirrors !

Done a little research on this vehicle,  sold new in Lancashire in 1992,

It's the LT1  300hp version,  note the  black folding mirrors, only ever

fitted to Eu spec export  models.

Last taxed /MOT'd in 2019 / 2020

Is it for sale, do you know, FC. 🤔

These photos were taken in May 2018 when I owned the Citroen in the same pics. It was parked in a road a few hundred yards from my house and was out of road tax at the time. Shortly afterwards it disappeared and I've not seen it since. Total Car Check doesn't show any recent adverts  of it for sale.

I don't remember seeing any C4 Corvette since I saw that one although I often see C3s (the last time being Sunday) , which is my favourite shape of Corvette!

Edit; From dashcam

Thanks for the info, FC,   such a pity... last MOT  was only 32,009 miles !

I wonder if it was removed by the council and crushed,   no further trace

of it, or it's languishing off road somewhere, awaiting a new optispark ignition module, that's their only weakness,  water ingress ...

H.N.Y.  🤗
