Easy to find in France, if a little spendy - already ordered a pair.👍

I saw your car at Tatton Park last summer. I would have been there in my 15, but it was misbehaving that day.

The bloke with the yellow 17 took these pics.👍

It would be great to see the 15 at Tatton this year.

This was probably the first time in many years where both mk 1 and mk 2 15's and 17's were all together.

I don't recall EVER seeing one of these in the wild, even from when I first started noticing cars in the mid 90s.

4 of them together in one place must literally count as a gathering of most of the remaining roadworthy UK population.

How Many Left shows 32 still licensed across all models last summer, and 13 Sorned. They are certainly rare!

Ordered new hoses on Monday morning, they arrived this morning (Thursday). Got them fitted this evening, normal service now resumed.👍

It's a lot easier to bleed the cooling system with the plastic bottle set up. Once bled, the glass jar can be swapped with the plastic one.

Fantastic thread.

Looking forward to seeing the new wheels on!

I'm sure sorting hoses and cooling problems aren't going to be a big problem given the spares/skills you have. I remember being taught to bleed Renaults like that when I was an apprentice (early Clios and 19s)

I know Renaults are not my thing but other than this thread I genuinely dont think I've seen one of these and I'm old! Maybe thats why I cant remember! 😄

Always need the bottle high on the older renaults or blow into expansion bottle and get a gobfull of coolant😄

Not had chance to get this out for 5 weeks or so, but it saw a bit of action this afternoon.

It has a close relative for company at the moment. 8-)

In case you didn't see the Renault 15 article in theTelegraph the other day, here's a non-paywalled link.

UK’s Rarest Cars: 1973 Renault 15 TS, One Of Only Five Left

I didn't - thanks for that.👍

Wheels supplied by a top bloke with a hoard of Renault stuff.

Obviously they need "the treatment" but that's my thing.  🤪

Should be a large amount of parts coming my way in the next few weeks. In the mean time, a fair bit of chugging around is going on.

No idea yet as to when it comes apart for fettling. 🤔

They're multiplying.

Some parts arrived with it - nice headlights and correct washer bottle.

Missing bits that go between the wings and valance. The white paint falls off when you touch it.

Also got cigarette lighter, jack, wheelbrace, spare wheel strap and a few other oddments. A load more bits to come in a few weeks.👍

It's a customer's car. I've got a pretty much identical white one coming soon to either plunder for parts, or possibly resurrect.

Honestly where are all these coming from? I really did think these were almost totally extinct.

If you want I can get in touch with the bloke that owns the nice red one featured earlier in this thread?
