Not your must find car more over just a part or a piece of tat/accessory that you long to find to complete your collection.

Oh go on then post your dream autoshite too.

Haven't seen Feu Oranges for a while, I actually liked the smell. I reckon if I smelt one again I'd instantly collapse with a overbearing nostalgic remembrance from my childhood. They do a modernised version which is much smaller. I guess the box/pin/bulbs design was not '2000's' enough.I don't have any collections, I tend to build up a small collection of wheels though.

To find this car, and keep it. Forever.

I learned to drive, and passed my test in it.

If a MKI Sierra was to pop up locally for cheap Id snap it right up, because its my dream car. Pretty unlikely considering I havent seen any non sporty ones for nigh on a year...

Easy a UK registared 3 door (Late Model ) Bluebird Rare as ............

If I ever saw an identical Riva to my old one (beige 1.5 saloon, metal grille), I don't think I'd be able to stop myself buying it. I never realised just how awesome that car was until I got rid of it. Thanks to a bankrupt dealer, it also had 100% unobtanium OEM accessories, like fitted velour seat-covers with the Lada logo embroidered into them, leather gear-knob, headlight protectors, etc etc.God, I miss it :cry:

Lancia 8 32. I've never even seen one, will never own one , but have a bad want :(

Is it still on the road? A 213 is one of my Holy Grail's.

I have a friend with one whom I'm trying to convince it's worth bringing to an Autoshite stand one day. He was meant to bring it to Cholmondely but appears to have had stage fright, so Suicide Ste brought his Mk5 RS2000 instead.

I have financially unearthy urges towards any of the following.

Posted Image.

I rebuilt the heads on one of these a few years ago after a cambelt related occurance "It's only done 10,000 miles in 8 years, so shouldn't have needed a belt yet...". Beautifully made lump, the castings are excellent but an absolute nightmare of a thing to work on in situ. I wouldn't want to do that again, but somehow got talked into it luckily with the help of a lunatic engine specialist. He made it easy as he'd done loads of 'em.

I like the look of them, all bulging arches, lights and grilles on a sensible 2 door saloon body. I like V engines and turbos. I love leather interiors, gadgets and fiddling with stuff to make it work. It's RWD and tailhappy.

Then I drove it. Oh boy they're fun when they're working. Mental overtaking pace, hugely sideways if you so desire and almost comfy when you're not in the mood. No less electrically stable than a Lancia Gamma, Alfa 6 or equivalent 70's Fiat. The electric shock absorbers cost about the same as Italy to replace and aren't that good, the Koni replacements are excellent when hoofing but dire at less than 80 mph. Bits are massively expensive and awkward to get and a pig to fit.

Yeah, I'd enjoy that.

Range Rover LSE soft dash. I just like the idea of owning a working one, on LPG.

I want one of these, with a 5.0 EFi lump, one of those Becker retro sat nav systems and a Harvey Bailey handling kit. But I can't afford one at the moment and I've already got three mad projects on the go.

I liked my 20v Exec one, but it wasn't that quick. The Biturbo must be a laugh.

One of these used to come to my dads garage in the mid '70s. It had been fitted with a Rover V8 and it suited it. If memory serves me right, it also had Borrani wires. They finished it off nicely.

The holy grail though is still a black one of these, with tan leather;

Good choice. I do hope it'll be an early Turbo?

Any late 80s early 90s GM F-body. That's Camaro or Firebird/Trans-Am.

To find one of my dad's old cars. Ideally EFO 177H, a white Austin 3-litre I suspect was scrapped absolutely ages ago. Failing that OFO 9M (burnt orange Maxi 1750), PEM 120T (beige Mk4 Cortina 1.6L estate) or VFY ***Y, a white Cavalier 1.6SR hatchback.Otherwise it's the standard dream of being asked to collect an old scrap car and finding out it's a 15,000 mile VX/490, Cortina Lotus or something like that.

For me it would have to be

Fiat 131 mirafiori sport

Chance would be a fine thing.

Metallic brown Renault 12 TS like the one my Dad had between 1980 and 1989. That said I'd settle for pretty much any seventies Renault.

Lada Riva 1600 SLX - in beige if possible.

Edit- like this one. (Why I now despise the top gear producers)

A Talbot samba 1.0 facelift with the revised dash (has anyone got a pic?). In pea green. B reg if poss.Next week it will be something different.

Vanden Plas 4 litre R, but it would need to be bright yellow, maybe green, orange or naked, with clear lacquer:

This is what I planned to post:

I'm going to see if they're available for my current car (although wouldnt suit it, out of curiosity) but if I get another Mk2 Escort or similar then I endeavour to get one.
