First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Socialist United Party of Germany (SECG) Erich Honecker and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the DDR Willie Stefoe looking at a brace of GAZ-13 'Chaika' limousines during a visit to the Spring Fair in Leipzig, 1972.

I'm not sure they picked up much business as the DDR favoured Citroens and Volvos to move their dignitaries around.

Leonard Nimoy and his '64 Buick Riviera at his home in West LA. He bought if for $3,000 and traded in his 1959 Nash Rambler for $160. Quite the step up!

I did see BAR 1 a couple of times in Liverpool in the 80s, on a S3 XJ, so it's probably safe to assume the plates the Jensen wore in the show were fiction.

Rick used to live recently, at the back of my work colleague’s house.

Being a Radio 1 DJ in the 70s must have been surprisingly lucrative.  Noel Edmonds and mostly his GT40

I’ve never heard anyone say “Oh, Noel Edmonds had one of them”, when Scimitars are mentioned.

Princess Anne had one (actually 8), you know. ( I know you know that, but it’s the law to say it).
