I enjoyed it anyway. Theres something very peaceful about rusting old hulks quietly decaying away.

Sorry, I dont know how to hotlink from flickr, but its worth a visit.

Agreed. Shame it has that beam in the way.

Is anyone here good on photoshop? I have deleted it using Paint but it looks a bit whack as you can see the lines where i cut out the squares.

That's really disturbing, and there are so many burnt out Mk3 festas on there too!

Some of them must have been there for ages! Great shots though, and hes got an awful lot of photos of burnt out cars. When did anyone last see a burnt out car? I saw a Corsa B in Popley that had been set alight, but that could have been the first time since I lived in Slough.

Nice find. Looks like this is the favourite spot for firing problem cars and having a nice big claim, you`d have to go to a bit of trouble to pinch an A6 or a Mk4 Astra for that matter, can`t all be joyriders.Anyone else find the number of Belmonts a bit unusual, there`s loads, more than the Mk2 Astras I`m sure. Who would want to push a burnt out car into the water, must take loads of effort! No tyres, steering wheel or anything.

I think the lack of burnt out cars in general is down to pikeys scooping them up for scrap before they get torched or soon after. Those ones in wales mostly seem to be up mountains or down quarries so not worth recovering.

Hmmm local-ish to me. Margam sidings, didnt know that was there tbh, barry went years ago. I reckon a 28DL style mission with the SLR for some locomotive action is in order next weekend

They probably used whatever other car they had nicked to shove it in..
