There's no hook in the back for my jacket, so I'm afraid I don't "get" the Veyron either. This honey does have somewhere to hang my jacket, however:

See a Veyron being given the beans, and it makes sense. That shape moving at speed is remarkable, and the noise is something else. Really, it is entirely pointless though as finding somewhere that you CAN give it the beans is nigh on impossible.

 

Agreed, as an engineering exercise you have to admit that it's something else..... but as something to look at I don't feel it's all that good looking. We got passed by a McLaren MP4-12c the other day whilst driving through Snowdonia and the sound it made was fantastic and he wasn't even giving it anywhere near full throttle. The McLaren isn't that good looking though IMHO. If I were to win 20 squillion on euromillions or something I'd be much more inclined to buy a nice Maserati Granturismo and save £900k :D

Doubt you need software improvements. Clearly, he puts a lot of effort into preparing the car. A footwell full of old sausage roll wrappers and a view of his pants on the washing line in the background never seem to be features of his shots. He uses the light well and gravel is a great surface to park on for shots like these.

 

Some great chod on the Bay at the moment. I really need to sell some cars so I can partake in another random purchase!

 

I've seen one of the cars before he sold it on eBay - the white Viva was a good example. The interior colours were not vivid in the original advert but in his collection of shots everything was so bright and colourful. You could see that it was really just the photography that made the difference.

 

Here's an example shot showing how you can make things look a lot better with the same photo:

I think he should just bosh a VW logo on the front of his Orion (on top of the ford badge) and carry on turning up in it, see if that gets them off his back. Maybe stick one of those soft alloy BEETLE_1303 badges on the bootlid as well.

If there was ever an eBay thread calendar that Orion picture should be on the front cover. That lad is literally LIVIN THE DREAM.

 

Spaccy ironing board rear spoiler on the car next to it? Check.

 

Jungle style front garden across the road? Check.

 

Old Astra van parked on the grass? Check.

 

27" alloys on his car? Check.

 

All it really needs is the Ford Ka down the road to be a bit nearer with 'Powered By Fairy Dust' stickers all over it and perhaps an old sofa and fridge in the garden across the road.

That's freakin sad. It certainly not my cup of tea, it's a car I wouldn't choose and modifications I don't like. But if he likes it then why shouldn't he be allowed to own it? Personally I couldn't care what some group of idiots who worship one brand and one brand only think about my car.

 

Almost tempted to write him a message and suggest that a proper wife wouldn't make her husband sell his car because her group of friends don't like it.
