Blimey. That Maestro van could be fun, but paint it that crappy purple/blue where the lacquer flakes off, bung some steel bumpers on it, 13" wheels with simple hubcaps and THEN have some fun surprising Beemers!

I can't imagine this with a BIN price of £900 and having mot until July 2011 being a bad deal, Just needs a respray according to the ad.

Trade in the Galaxy Pog and get this hunny, you know you want to, Can you believe that the mot only ran out in April and it's still taxed!, Get a new ticket on it and just run it as it is for extra shite points.

resprays are very expensive on GRP, and this R' reg is probably an early se6, a cross over model, using a mixture of braking systems and interior

probably best avoided, unless you are a die hard scimmy fan

earlier and later models have more appeal, and are usually cheaper

If that is anything like as bad as it looks, I'm amazed it has a recent MOT. Must be a lot better underneath than up top which is unusual for an R4. R4s - even tatty ones are starting to go for slightly silly money. Which is good for me I suppose but makes finding cheap bits difficult.

"THIS WOULD LOOK GREAT ON TOP OF ANY CAMPER SPLITTY OR OTHER"

You've got a lovely old Coke tagged Cool box, so where better than to stick it, than on top of your Totally "Scene" Mong fekkin Camper, now that's a tragedy.

If I had a spare 150, I'd buy it just so some Tw@t doesn't get to stick it on top of his "Ride"

P.S. must change that Avtar

Yowser.

That would definately fall into the EPIC ROAD TRIP category. Probably take a couple of days over it. Have check the fundage as i am waiting for some hefty invoices to be paid but certainly of interest.

Saying that the avenger wagon is super shitey too. And i ve wanted one of those since forever.

I thought they had mechanical brakes at the back, or am I confused?

The have a single rear "wheel" cylinder under the floor under the rear footwell. This is used to push rods/linkages to the rear brakes.

Not terribly interesting as a car, but a fascinating study in photographic psychology. Is he selling this car or stalking it?

Correct. Known as a 'frame' cylinder.

To completely replace all six hydraulic brake cylinders on an Austin A30-35 would set you back £400 easily.

There's one of those still in service around here! I've seen it on school duty. Those kids do not realise how lucky they are.

I quite like these....

Just beat me to it. I have put it on my watch list, wonder how much the reserve?

After seeing my old Maxi in another post and having just sold my 1100 I don't think I can be without some BL tat for long.

I hope you have an interesting shitey car planned to bring junior home in. In years to come I will tell my son with pride that he was brought home in a metallic turd, LHD, American Chrysler. :D

I'm hoping for a home-birth, but if needs be the first journey will be in the Allegro 8)
