theorganist Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I was eyeing up that Marina earlier, looks perfectly scabby Aye its a perfect autoshite car, shabby, cheap and unfashionable!! This looks fairly lush: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-CAVALIER-MK1-/270640697149?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3f03714f3d

CreepingJesus Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 ^The Clio's monumentally bad; the worst bit of it is the 1.2 engine. Why stick yet more weight in plastic and ICE on the bugger? You will get blitzed away from the lights, by a Marina. Then how big will you feel?
Angrydicky Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Some Rennoz for your delectation...... Yogurt Spilt.....Tax and MoT'ed, whats not to like? It's brown.....http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1974-RENAULT-4-DE ... 3cb1137748 Oh yes, that's lovely The 25 Turbo belonged to 25v6turbo.

HereHareHere Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Right, as this is my favourite thread on the entire internet I've taken the radical step of joining this forum purely to keep it moving along. Though to satisfy entry requirements, I do have a Maestro (R reg - one of those post-mortem funnies that was built in Bulgaria, failed to appeal even to Bulgarians, and ended up being converted back to rhd round the back of a petrol station in Herefordshire). How about a quick trawl through the "oldtimers" on eBay.de? Note that I understand almost no German ("ohne TUV" seems like a key phrase), and can't be arsed to bollock about with Google translate. Now - let the Kraut-Krap commence! Wankelspider? HereHareHere Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Thanks Mr G. Pensioners vehicle! Presumably are given 49276km original! Not a single rust and inside top! Also Venyldach has no quirks! The original paint has two small scratches It is up to two lamp lenses absolutely complete ( incl.Ersatzrad and jack )! The little downer: He will not start ! A fuel hose is defective, the Spritt is old and should be changed and the ignition would have to be set! The tires are old! Rest see photos! The car is sold with the franz.Carte Grise and evidence showing the property (purchase agreement ) ... that's enough for approval in Germany! He must be in France (near Vichy) picked up the trailer with us ! Important:If the vehicle within 5 days will be collected from us , Cash is not a local problem! Otherwise, please sof.Überweisung of the purchase price ! Overnight , etc ... see our auctions " Marina's Paradise " Just found two rear light lenses for my Renault 14 on there which I have been having real trouble finding, even in France!
Richard Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Just found this French Allegro on there with a..........cough...............cough............model showing it off That's Marina- AKA Iggy Pop, the Autoshite sweetheart. http://www.goldies-boutique.eu/front_content.php She's no ropier than the bird from the Allegro Equipe advert IMO.
barrett Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Wilkommen!GR11 ebay.dr skillz. That Wankel spider looks fun, but knowing that Tim Bishop (master of the obscure- why isn't he on here?) spent about 8 years trying to find enough parts to get his one to just run (not drive mind you, run) I don't imagine there is much hope for any mere mortals getting it back on the road. Maybe he wants another one?
garethj Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Be just like me, only much poorer £2750 And it doesn't even have go faster stripes like mine
theorganist Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 I'm liking this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300473677215&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en and this http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C174107/ http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C167390/ The car only has a 4 speed gear box beacuse i was unable to find a 5 speed one
trigger Posted September 30, 2010 Author Posted September 30, 2010 I'm quite fancying a camper van at the moment, Even Mrs Trigger likes the idea, I fancy a round the county trip of visiting car museums. This Peugeot 504 camper is perfect for the job. (sorry no photo and crap advert) http://www.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/c ... RegLetter=

Spottedlaurel Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I wonder if the brown 244DL on the previous page is an ex-Volvo press/management car? They were based in Ipswich back then and all the road test cars carried Suffolk PV/DX/GV/BJ etc registrations. I’ve a feeling that at least one car I’ve seen in a magazine was in this KGV...V series.

Priceless. I quite like Mk1 Lagunas, fatha-Lobsta had a high mileage 2.0 RT back in the day and it was a proper nice thing, reliable and pretty well screwed together. Wouldn't want an auto though and that one looks awful.
