Ebay Tat Volume 2 - Sadly deceased.

eBay.it - funnily enough, it's a total shambles. Also, there's a distressing lack of supa-bargin 131s and so on. Key phrase: "graffio da parcheggio".

Culled from their "under €500" section:

Nice old Fiesta, but especially nice with one of those tiny, tiny front numberplates they phased out some time ago.

Everyone loves a nice Y10. Though the Italians clearly don't, as there are loads of them around for under €500. Here's a couple:

I like these angular little cuties too, though this pranneto could only manage a sodding postage stamp (though even this is beyond most vendors - maybe Berlusconi has confiscated every digital camera in the land and hidden them all behind two-way mirrors in his 4,000 bathrooms).

A Spa? You'd certainly have a few of those driving this sawn-off Uno home from Sicily.

Can't leave without offering a Croma. This 2000 TD looks tasty for €500.

Be just like me, only much poorer :D

£2750  And it doesn't even have go faster stripes like mine

I had noticed that one as well. A bit rich. This Ginetta seems decent value to me at the same price:

I would love either to be honest 8)

Thought about yours when I saw this though Gareth as I reckon those 205 1.9 GTI alloys look pretty good - Could suit yours well too I reckon?

You want to make me an offer, you do

The 205 wheels look ok, but a bit 1990s which suits the later G32. The G26 is a bit more '80s so the one's I've got a hankering for are Citroen BX alloys, they look just futuristic enough, and they're the right PCD. Lotus Elite wheels would be lush but the wrong PCD and I think 1980s Toyota Celica wheels could be good too. But cracking tyres meant a new pair pronto, so I've stuck with the Mondeo wheels and some 32mm spacers.

A Panhard 24CT that's rusty, incomplete and they weren't very reliable when new some 45 years ago. I'm in love 8)

What's that, sir? You don't need to arrive at work regularly? You've got a brand new polishing mop and a masochistic streak? Step right this way and we can do a deal

Know that your better than 205 GTis, but get laughed at anyway

I'm looking for a nice 4x4, 7 seater. I quite like the big Porsche 4x4 when they're painted ipod white.

Or something similar?

I can see what you are saying there. Still think they could look good though - Have I missed the pics of yours with spacers? - Could you post a pic? 8)

Get on retrorides and get someone to photoshop 205 wheels onto yours. Dont forget to mention Autoshite to get an immediate response!

EDIT: Yeah, these Celica Supra wheels as seen on the Lotus Excel would suite assuming they fit (think they were also on Mitsubishi Starion?)

The bloke selling this is a bit of a Ginetta geek. I went over there about 3 years ago to have a look at an E30 318is and he had 3-4 Ginettas, one of which was going to 'bike' powered if he got around to it. Always seems to be selling one on Pistonheads. Seemed a very decent bloke though.

That's quite impressive that CX. Not sure I'd want a hydraulic Citroen that had been standing for 11 years (impressive that it starts and runs though!) and I note that the bonnet also doesn't fit on that one. That means I can use the 'oh, they're all like that' line with mine then. Sorted!

Ahahahahahahaha an old Merc estate quarter-arsedly converted via the local Homebase to look like the Ghostbusters 1950s Cadillac ambulance conversion will surely cure my depression.

It could cure depression quite easily if you use it to ram-raid the previous owners house.

I went to have a look at this last time it was listed. It really is quite grotty underneath, and from the seller's description (by his own admission he knows nothing about Wanker engines) it sounds very much like it's low on compression, and from what little I know about these things I'd be worried that this could be due to worn out rotor tips. The interior is very good though.
