'Centrial Door Locking'

'I Have Driven this car Somerset to Reading and Back'

Never mind all that shit, just fill it full of cherry and avoid VOSA roadside checks by pretending to be really old. If you do get stopped just piss on the seats and offer the coppers a Werthers Original.

That mk3 Granada really is giffer spec. I bet you'd struggle to find another car that came equipped with ABS (before it became compulsory) but not a rev counter.

I love that pinto Granada. It reminds me of that mega tidy bogo white Sierra estate on here a few days back. Ah memories.

Anyway. My mate's moving and has sold his Dolomite that he's had for years back to the guy he bought it off. To clear the way for the dolomite the guys selling this ->

VDP, looks well nice.

REAR SIDE LIGHT NOT WORKING

Damn, I was all set to bid on on it, but if both rear lights aren't working you can stick it.

Cock.

Any of you chaps in the Northern Ireland cell of Autoshite fancy a very clean looking FE Victor?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Granada-Mk-2-Cardinal-Pick-up-Converted-Hearse-/170761963471

it`s very well built It is 99% finished but just needs a few minor bits here & there including an SVA check carried out by VOSA, application form is with us. The vehicle will be allocated a Q plate when checked, don`t know why DVLA says it`s got to have one VOSA say it hasn`t but have been over ruled by Birmingham local office as they say it is a radically altered vehicle, not as much as some Kit cars people get original VRM`s on ????? The original plate has been deleted from the DVLA record and cannot be ever used again Starts & Drives 100%

Yeah that'll defo* hit the road again, failing that at least it will make a decent* banger car.

This is worth its weight in mixed scrap and no more.

Why is it that so many people want to turn a usable vehicle into a fupping pickup? They're good for sod all over here because you can't leave owt in the back without it going walkies at traffic lights or getting rained on. And they look shit, especially when they are DIY conversions like these with some old microwave doors as back windows or whatever.

Nevertheless, when some idiot on a council estate gets a bit ambitious with a grinder, nine times out of ten a wanky looking pickup is the result.

I'm using my phone here and my eyesight is at best shit: can you just confirm that is actually a sideways on greenhouse door glued to the back of that Granada pick up? Ta.

Far be it from me as a part time member to suggest a running joke, but perhaps just as the solution to ever problem is to hammer a slightly bigger one over the top of it.... perhaps the solution for anyone who is struggling to sell a car should be to cut the back off it and make it a pickup?

That pickup is a bag of shit, for the reasons so ably stated by Cobblers. WTF is wrong with a perfectly good hearse? I like a big estate car, I do, and I know I'm not the only one; I'm sure loads of Lovejoy-type antique dealers would love a hearse for business use. I'd go to bloody Tesco in it!

(Edit) I'd drive that Victor all day too, how lovely is that interior!

The dormer extension on that Granada reminds me of a flat we lived in, in the 80's/

Bidding is up to £1500 with two days to go, but one owner and 26k miles...

There are pickup conversions and then there are pickup conversions. A local Volvo specialist had a chopped 740 that was beautifully done and looked the business. That Granada on the other hand is an abomination and I wouldn't be seen dead in it :D

What if it was converted back into a hearse? :D

Nah, old Grandads are too common. That gives me an idea though, anyone want to start a thread about hearse shite?

Check out these hot polovnis.

'69 Capri taken to bits and sprayed a terrible colour. Guy claims to have the full interior and two engines and boxes, so €800 probably isn't too bad, though his gaff looks like the sort of place where visitors are made to do awful things then fed to pigs.

Thank fug for that. €1,600.

There have been about 30 such threads in the last few years! I'm sure you could find one with a little searching.
