cort16 Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 No mot but still looks good for 250http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/98-r-mazda-xedos-6-20i-v6-auto-japanese-bmw-3-series-equivalent/83420405 A couple of dusty looking discos that have been off the road for 12 years. I wonder what the story is? The 3 door diesel looks tidy but £800 seems a tad salty for a 140k disco with no MOT and in need of recommisioning.http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/land-rover-discovery-3-door-v5-tdi/83418168 This ones a v8.http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/land-rover-discovery-v5-tdi/83415951
RobT Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 I'm being rather tempted by a disco at the moment, especially that one with bull bars on it. Great for seeing off potential garage thieving scum (I'm still bitter!). And that A reg Montego is great for being John Thaw in the first ever episode of Morse
Alexg Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Hey that Horizon is great! Question though, what is to the left of the driver, is that the stereo??

garethj Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Here's a fascinating piece of war memorabilia, a Land Rover Pink Panther! I think they only made about 20 or so, this is certainly rare beast. Let's have a look in detail Doesn't look much like one to me - I thought they all had no doors. Isn't this just a shagged old pickup? Where's your provenance for these outrageous claims? There is pink paint under the green Well that's the decider, innit? Anything else? The Rover 11 was one of the build base for alot of the SAS pink panthers. This may have been one originaly okaaaay. So £1500 for a knackered old pickup that's had a tough life with squaddies then. Any other justification? Dont be fooled here. A replica SAS pink panther sold on here last year for nearly £30,000hmmm, I'm not being fooled
catsinthewelder Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Have we had this yet? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Austin-Maxi-2 ... 1043wt_937 £395 BIN
garethj Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I can’t believe this is at £400 already, just look at it. If it was more like £50 it would be worth a punt – pulling off the dodgy van body and replacing with dodgy sports car body instead. Looks like a thoroughly 1920s driving experience, which it should be, considering it's based on a 1980s Sherpa
theorganist Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Have we had this yet? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Austin-Maxi-2 ... 1043wt_937 £395 BIN I was looking at this, however a Brown series 2 is probably my least favourite Maxi and I wonder if it is a little expensive as I have seen them go for that much with an MOT, indeed I sold one! Wondering to what extent it would be a "brave repair"?!

Stepdad has just sold his MGB, but I can’t see him wanting this back again. Great photoskills... Thinking of Porsches, why no 928s on p928 yet?

dollywobbler Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Ye gads. That 2CV abomination has two bids and is over a grand! Can't even chuck that shit body away and re-chassis a normal 2CV as it appears that the rear chassis legs have been hacked off.
