Is anyone else having problems viewing pictures on eBay recently, or is it just me?

clear your cache and cookies and go from there ...

Done that. I keep getting an "image not available" message when I'm on eBay sites, which suggests to me that the problem is with eBay rather than my computer, but I'm not sure.

Generally OK, although the Firefox thingy didn't work on one item the other day; probably because it wasn't from a .com or a .co.uk.

Who's the Subaru pervert on here?

Looks nice, strange turn of phrase from the seller....

These trucks love the coming winter months, this is your chance to buy a SNOW PASS.
What's a SNOW PASS? Do I need one? £1200 no bidz yet.

Is anyone in Norfolk able to have a gander at this for me? :)

You know that saying "if something seems too good to be true..."? Here's a good example, I just can't believe this is £995

Or if you fancy another bonkers estate car, how about this fine Mitsubishi Legnum. Crazy fast which means the accident, when you have it, will be a biggie

I like these, but the image of other speedy Subarus doesn't appeal

Available with a 3 litre flat 6, but this is a twin turbo 2 litre

Have to say I am quite tempted by one too, image or no, most council-estate scooby-plebs won't recognise it as one as it doesn't have 4ft high 'grafix' down the side.

However all these bat-shit powerful Legacies seem to have automatic gearboxes, which would kind of spoil the whole point of the exercise.

That MGB

JOB DONE

Especially when it gets moved, also it has a reserve

Bloody Nora, that MGB was last taxed in 1985! I'm suprised it hasn't blown away....

Hope it goes to a good home because there is a lot of sentiment (for husband) attached to it

Or in other words his wife can't wait to see the back of it.

Did you see the Q&As?

I've basically had a strop with husband and just want it off the drive

I'm going to hazard a guess that this is still quite some way off its reserve, but if I had somewhere to put this (and an HGV license) I'd be all over it. Tax exempt too.

Can't you put these on 'Showman's licence' and drive it as a private vehicle, or is that just unit only articulated trucks? There's a shit model Scania on eBay at the moment with the 5th wheeel removed and it's listed as being legal for those with car licence only.

Anyhow if you can maybe you should buy it then 'do a Chris Eubank' and drive round your 'hood looking all moody and what not.

You'd have to prove you were a showman, to get that exemption. Otherwise, you could go to your regional VED office, fill in a few forms, and have it reclassified. You don't actually have to put it beyond use (so you can stick a trailer on your unit for vintage rallies, and so on), but you do need the relevant license. With a flatbed on it, I'm betting the ERF will be under 7.5t, so most people over 30 or so, could drive it on a car license. Fun times - just don't get caught by the ministry shifting 20 tons of paving slabs 'for a mate'!

Wow - just got a call off my mate - he's just bought this exact truck! Looking forward to fettling it with him. Will post photos when I finally get the coins to go visit...

He's gonna pull a showmans with it, and will no doubt have his transit or whatever on the flat bed. Goddamn pikey!

He's a good lad tho - a resto will defo be in action...

:)

At that kind of money it will no doubt be bought to break, engines do £1500+ , change the sump for a RWD one and you have a cheap replacement Skyline GTS-T lump.

The only downside of Stagea ownership is the fuel consumption.............

excellent, I'd love to do an Eccentric German Millionaire Twat job on that and get it totally restored but looking as-is. I think that would be my perfect car actually.

I would love a Jag 420 or similar.

Boot permanantly full of ropes and shovels.

Now this my friends is tits. Luck I haven't been paid or I'd be seriously considering this as he seems to be getting messed around by chancers and probably wants rid. MOT until the end of January might be a slight concern...............
