brammy777 Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Torsten selling his Acclaim then? Perhaps to make way for something else...? Looks like its got quite a few fans judging by the amount of bids.
garycox Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Why's it on irelandBay? Are they popular over there?

pogweasel Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rare-Early-1983-Y ... 0487560832Super-nice. Hope it goes for enough to stop the engine becoming a "2.1 Burton" in some half-arsed Escort project. Excellent number platage too.

meggersdog Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Anyone else notice the mileage no longer shows up in item specifics.I've looked at my previous listings and it's gone from them too.
mouseflakes Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Splendid!(sounds a bit plops if I'm honest)
cms206 Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Espero 1.8CDi manual with 12 months test at £395 BIN... I'm tempted... isn't this pretty early as well, for a UK Espero? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1995-DAEWOO-ESPERO-CDI-RED-/250706278376?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3a5f4237e8
Lacy Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 That Esperro is for sale in Kettering.....always reminds me of a 'Not the nine o'clock news' book I had years ago that described 'Kettering' as the marks left on your arse having sat in a wicker chair..........

wuvvum Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 This has to be getting close to Autoshite holy grail status, surely? Devon's a bit too much of a trek for me, alas.

wuvvum Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Do you think this might be a scam? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mercedes-Benz-250 ... 500wt_1154 It's possible, although it does look from the pictures like the car genuinely is in Uganda, and the start price isn't ridiculously cheap for the car - normally with these scams the price is too good to be true. I certainly wouldn't want to take the risk though.
HereHareHere Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Serbia? Well, why the fuck not. Stacks of these - this one's by no means the cheapest at €180. How I would love to get a shipment in and flog them off at in indecent profit to retro-twat metropolitan tosspots. This one doesn't even need spraying red first! http://www.polovniautomobili.com/oglas5 ... stava_750/ Unsurprisingly but less excitingly there are plenty of these as well. This one looks pretty damn tidy for €249. http://www.polovniautomobili.com/oglas4 ... stava_101/ Oooh! €200. Not the only one, either. http://www.polovniautomobili.com/oglas6 ... 300_super/ Also file under 'no shite, Sherlock'. This €200 example looks a frightful shitter but has apparently only done 28k km. http://www.polovniautomobili.com/oglas5 ... riva_2105/ An R4 for €200? Can't be bad (though this one kind of is). http://www.polovniautomobili.com/oglas6 ... t_r_4_gtl/ Fill me up with Slobodan's Nut Gone WANT! €200. http://www.polovniautomobili.com/oglas1 ... 3_elegant/ I tell you, this place is a motherlode of 24-karat shite. Loads of these and all, and I still haven't crossed the €250 barrier... http://www.polovniautomobili.com/oglas6 ... tburg_353/

barrett Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 After a bit of a lull, this thread has got massively fun again. Thanks HereHareHere! (great name, btw)I never knew they made a license-built Fiat 850 van before I saw that site, so thanks for that too!
AlsoMike Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Yes please Starting bid: £850.00 Perhaps not then...
AlsoMike Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Sporting a Rust-O'clock shadow... Much better than painting it red I reckon. Colour matching is for LOSERS.
barrett Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Hubba hubba! I'd pay £850 for that little honey. I am drunk though. We had an red A-reg GTE for years. Can't imagine the 1200 is much fun though, even the autograssers might turn their noses up at that.
AlsoMike Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Can't imagine the 1200 is much fun though, even the autograssers might turn their noses up at that. The 1200 isn't too bad really, they thrash along quite nicely.
HereHareHere Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Thanks, Barrett - I like to think I'm taking a lead from David Cameron, just doing my bit as we all pull together to build a Shite Society. More bargin Serbz. Check out the company this €300 Krautina's keeping! http://www.polovniautomobili.com/oglas6 ... aunus_16l/ Thank you sir, may I have another! Also €300. Like a great many of Serbia's burgeoning stock of shite, this also runs on LPG. http://www.polovniautomobili.com/oglas5 ... taunus_gl/ Doubt there's much love for the "VW Buba" on here, but damn they're cheap in Serbia. Loads like this for €300. Also plenty of tidy looking Mk1 Golfs at one nice price: fuck-all. http://www.polovniautomobili.com/oglas6 ... agen_buba/ Not much wrong with this 125p for €350. http://www.polovniautomobili.com/oglas6 ... iat_125_p/ Taxi for Mr Milosevic! These are my second-favourite Ladas. This one does gas FTW. An old Lada converted to LPG by some bloke down a Belgrade backstreet? What could possibly go wrong! €400. http://www.polovniautomobili.com/oglas651115/lada_1200/ Not quite up to the standard of a certain orange example, but this is a whole lotta Kadett B for €400. http://www.polovniautomobili.com/oglas6 ... _kadett_b/
