In what way?  DIS area code from Teeside to Shrewsbury area. The G suffix means it was registered in 1968/9

Or am I missing the point?

All the I and Z codes were allocated to Ireland, which retained them after 1922. Northern Ireland had some, but never used the suffix or prefix letters.

It'll just be a false plate for publicity purposes. BL did things like that as well.

Baby + ice cream is a combination that definitely works best outside the car.

Male fantasy No. 569.

Happened to me once only I was the passenger in a new Triumph Stag and the gorgeous blonde was giving me a ride from Mt. Rainier National Park to Tacoma, Washington.

I thought you meant an unrefurbished Leyland engined Routemaster. Can't think of anything better myself.

This bus actually made it to the last few months of London Routemaster operations in 2004 albeit being refurbed and fitted with a Cummins engine. After withdrawal it was converted to open top and shipped to Germany. So whilst it technically still exists it is pretty much ruined. So my fantasy would be to repatriate it and rebuild it back to how it should be.

Yeah, the bus has some possibilities....but who would you wanna take for a spin, the RouteMaster or Suzette?

This woman looks a lot like her -- except maybe the zebra mini-skirt -- I was 21/she was 35/it was 1974. She was someone my Uncle knew from work & agreed to pick me up at the end of a backpacking trip and drive me 50 miles....top down, her silk scarf flying. In any novel or movie, we would have wound up pulling off to some disreputable inn and "wrecking the bed". Wasn't the Triumph Stag pretty unreliable mechanically, i. e., sank British Leyland? Or was that the TR-7?

Missed opportunity for a Bird & a Beer due to BL's reliability!

I think you're talking to the wrong person here. The bus wins hands down. I haven't driven one for five years now and I do miss it.
