Later on he had to sell the rights to Oliver! to Max Bygraves to pay for his lifestyle, I guess Facel Vega went earlier.

They’ve got a point. When my son was born we had a two door car and had to borrow my Dad’s (4 door)to collect my wife from the hospital.

Also shows how BL failed. Worse car there, by far the most expensive.

Whilst longevity wasn't factored into their design and construction, Metros remained one of Britain's most popular cars over the majority of their period of production. People actually liked them and they were a decent little motor to drive.
